Product Information

The Baby Lock Zipper Foot (BLQP-ZF) is a sewing accessory designed for inserting zippers, snap tape, and more. It features a narrow toe for enhanced visibility and precision. With the ability to adjust the needle position to the right or left, this foot allows for easy sewing on both sides of the zipper. Additionally, it can be used to attach piping or decorative cording to fabric.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Raise the presser foot and raise the needle to the highest position.
  2. Using the screwdriver included with your machine, loosen and remove the screw holding the current foot in place.

  6. Secure the zipper with basting and sew along the marked line.
  7. Ensure that the needle does not strike the metal part of the zipper while sewing to prevent breakage and injury.
  8. Line up the folded hem on the opposite side with the stitches.
  9. If necessary, loosen the zipper foot screw to change its position.
  10. Turn the handwheel to lower the needle, position the presser foot, and tighten the adjustment screw before sewing.
  11. With the fabric right side up, baste the zipper onto the fabric and then sew along the edge of the basting.
  12. If the slider of the zipper is in the way, lift the foot and move the slider out of the way before continuing.
