Before Using

Connect your smart remote with the power cable. (Input power: DC 5V/1A) and make sure that your mobile phone is connected to the local Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz).

The TuyaSmart app is free. Scan the QR code shown above or download the app via the Google Play Store™ or App Store™ on your smartphone device. Install and register an account.

Connecting Your Smart Remote

1. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, until the LED indicator light begins to flash rapidly.
2. Press “ Add Device” in the TuyaSmart app.
3. Select “All Devices”.
4. Choose “Infrared Universal Remote Control”.
5. After you’ve finished connecting, the indicator light will turn off.

Adding Remote

Adding the remote is based on the default database, which includes TVs, air conditioners, set top boxes, and fans. Setup is simple and quick, but limited by the database. (Please refer to the following images.)

The Smart Remote can learn signals in a frequency of 38KHz.
