Connecting Your Smart Remote

  1. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, until the LED indicator light begins to flash rapidly.
  2. Press “ Add Device” in the TuyaSmart app.
  3. Select “All Devices”.
  4. Choose “Infrared Universal Remote Control”.
  5. After you’ve finished connecting, the indicator light will turn off.

Adding Remote

Adding the remote is based on the default database, which includes TVs, air conditioners, set top boxes, and fans. Setup is simple and quick, but limited by the database. (Please refer to the following images.)

DIY, the Learning Function

If you can’t find your device in the brand list, please press the DIY option and follow the in-app prompts in order to add your device. (Please refer to the following images.)
