Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of the Sew & Play UnicornTM, please follow these care instructions:

Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
Avoid direct sunlight and keep the unit away from direct heat sources.
If the unit will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.
Avoid dropping the unit on hard surfaces and exposing it to moisture or water.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with the Sew & Play UnicornTM, please try the following steps:

Turn the unit off.
Remove the batteries to interrupt the power supply.
Allow the unit to stand for a few minutes.
Replace the batteries.
Turn the unit on again.
If the unit still doesn’t work, install a new set of batteries.

Environmental Phenomena

The Sew & Play UnicornTM may experience malfunctions due to radio-frequency interference. In such cases, turning the power off and on or removing and reinstalling the batteries should resolve the issue. Additionally, an electrostatic discharge may cause the unit to malfunction and lose memory. Reset the device by removing and reinstalling the batteries if this occurs.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules and is designed to avoid harmful interference. It accepts any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Product Usage Instructions

Battery Removal and Installation

Make sure the unit is turned off.
Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit and use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the cover.
Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
Install 3 new AAA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it.

Note: Adult assembly is required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.

Mode Switch
The Mode Switch allows you to control different modes of operation:

Play Mode: Slide the switch to Play Mode to interact with the unicorn using the Heart and Star LED buttons. In this mode, the unicorn will talk and sing.
Light Mode: Slide the switch to Light Mode to enjoy a light show. Use the Heart and Star LED buttons to change the LED effects.
Off: Slide the switch to Off to turn off the unicorn.

Heart and Star LED Buttons
Press the Heart and Star LED buttons to interact with the unicorn in Play Mode or to change the LED effects in Light Mode.

Motion Sensor
In Play Mode, shake the unicorn to listen to songs. The motion sensor does not respond in Light Mode.

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation

Make sure the unit is turned Off.
Find the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the battery cover.
Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
Install 3 new AAA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are
recommended.)
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Shake the unicorn to listen to songs while in Play Mode. No response in Light Mode.

BATTERY INFORMATION

Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from the toy before charging.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Turn the unit On The unit will now be ready to play again.
If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.

Environmental Phenomena
