DOWNLOAD THE STARFISH APP

(App design is subject to change without notice.)

Verify you’re connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network.

Launch the STARFISH app and tap “Sign-up” to create a new account or “Login” to your existing account.

Enter email address, then select “Get verification code”.

Enter verification code that was sent to your email.

Tap the “Me” button at the bottom of the screen, and then “Home Management”.

Select the II Create a home” button to set up your home.

Tap the (+) button on the top right corner to access the action menu, then select “Add Device”

Select device type from the listed categories.”
Add Manually

It is recommended to pair 8 or fewer devices at 1 time. If you are pairing multiple devices at one time, and. sore qtr. J¥, deices d? not pair the 1st time; repeat the pairing process.·

Turn your device on. The device should lilil automatically enter pairing mode. If it does not start blinking rapidly after 7-1 O seconds then turn your device off /on 5 times to enter pairing mode. Confirm that the device is blinking quickly and click “next”.
Device Blinking

This device has advanced pairing retention technology. The device(s) that already paired will remain paired to the network, the device(s) that did not pair will return to pairing mode. To reset to factory settings, turn the switch off /on Bx.

Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network name and enter password then click “Next.”

The pairing status screen will appear.

Note: Verify your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network and that you have Bluetooth turned ON for connection.

For Wi-Fi/Bluetooth enabled devices, you will see a pop-up indicating that there are unpaired devices in the area. The device does not need to be in pairing mode. Tap “Add” and select the devices you would like to connect.

Once all the devices have connected, tap “Next”.

Once device is successfully paired, continue to step 10.

When successfully connected, you may rename the device. Tap the “Pen” icon, enter the new name and select “Done”. The device is now ready to be controlled with the STARFISH app.

Bluetooth is strictly used to pair and connect the device. A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network is required to operate all STARFISH products.

From the Home Management screen, select the Home that you would like to share.

Tap “Add Member” and select the way that you would like to send the invitation

Enter the user information and select if the new member will be an “Administrator” or a “Common Member” in the Home.

Tap 11Save11 to send the invitation.

INSTALLATION AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT : Read before installing fixture. Retain for future reference.

WARNING: Risk of Fire or Electric Shock

Disconnect power before installation or any maintenance of the fixture.
To avoid damage, falling, electric shock or fire, do not modify the fixture or replace accessories without confirming with the supplier first.
Only authorized, qualified personnel should install this fixture and should follow the owner’s manual.
Do not dismantle the fixture without the supplier’s authorization.
Do not touch the power supply when the fixture is operating.
For use in environments where an accumulation of non-conductive dust on the fixture may be expected.
Suitable for indoor installations.

IMPORTANT: This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.

INSTALLATION

TOOLS REQUIRED: Hole saw, measuring tape and connector cables (as needed). NOTE: Use extensions if necessary. Available connector cables are 6′ (1.Bm). Connector cables are linkable

Turn power OFF from the electrical panel before starting installation.
Cut a hole in the ceiling for the downlight in a suitable position. Refer to Hole·cut Dimension chart (below).
Run the electrical wire from the switch (power supply wire) through the mounting hole. Use NMD90 Romex or BX cable. See Figure A.
Open the Junction Box swing cover and remove the appropriate knockouts.
Insert the power supply wire through the knockout and fasten with a cable connector (not included).
Connect wires inside the Junction Box using the quick connect terminals. Connect green ground with the green box wire. Connect the black and white power leads with the matching black and white box wires. See Wiring Diagram.
Put all wires and connections back into the box and close the cover securely.
New Construction Applications : Junction Box shall be firmly secured to the studs, joists or similar fixed structural units.
Remodel Applications : Do not require the Junction Box to be firmly secured to fixed structural units. Insert the Junction Box into the ceiling.
Bend back the two torsion springs and slowly fit the fixture through the ceiling hole. The torsion springs will pull the fixture into place. See Figures B & C.
Once installation is complete, turn power ON to confirm the fixture is working properly.
