SUNGROW CX Series Solar Inverter

Product Information
The new CX Series includes the SG33CX and SG50CX inverters. These inverters are compatible with high-power modules and are designed to be lightweight for easy installation by one person. The CX Series also features AFCI 2.0 technology, which provides enhanced safety by analyzing signal and energy characteristics to detect arcs with 99.9% accuracy. In addition, the inverters are equipped with a high-quality cooling system that adjusts fan speed to manage temperature changes and prevent hardware damage. The SG50CX has been redesigned to reduce weight by 34% and volume by 42%, making it even easier to install with the practical handles on the sides. The SG50CX inverter has a 30 A MPPT current input, making it compatible with over 500 Wp PV modules. The CX Series offers power classes ranging from 33 kVA to 125 kVA, with the option of the SG125CX for higher power needs.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. To install the CX Series inverters, ensure you have a suitable location for installation and make sure you have read and understood all safety precautions in the user manual.
  2. Connect the inverter to the high-power modules using the appropriate connectors and cables.
  3. If using multiple inverters, connect them in parallel according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Ensure proper ventilation for the inverter by allowing sufficient space around it and ensuring that air can flow freely.
  5. If necessary, connect the Logger1000 meter directly to the inverter for feed-in limitation purposes.
  6. Before turning on the inverter, double-check all connections and ensure that the PV modules are properly installed and functioning.
  7. Turn on the inverter using the power switch and monitor the display to ensure proper operation.
  8. If any faults or issues are detected, consult the user manual or contact a specialist for assistance.

ASK OUR SPECIALIST

SUNGROW-CX-Series-Solar-Inverter-FIG-2

What is the new AFCI 2.0 technology?
The system analyzes signal and energy characteristics for an arc detection accuracy of 99.9 %. Arcs will be detected in a range of up to 100 m on the + / – string and a maximum DC current of 30 A.

What’s new in regard to Feed-in Limitation?
For installations with only one inverter, the Logger1000 isn’t needed anymore to fulfill zero-output restrictions. The meter can directly be connected to the inverter. This saves time and costs during installation.

What’s the benefit of the new IV Curve Analysis?
The scanning accuracy of the new IV Curve Analysis can reach no less than 95%. It may therefore analyze up to 17 different types of PV fault information.

Which power classes are available of the CX Series?
The Commercial Extreme Series ranges from 33 kVA to 125 kVA. The small CX inverters are available as 33 kW and 50 kW versions. For higher power needs there’s SG125CX available.
