EVERBILT Braided Stainless Steel Water Heater Connectors
Product Information
Braided Stainless Steel Water Heater Connectors
The Braided Stainless Steel Water Heater Connectors are designed for
installation in accessible locations to connect water supply lines to water
heaters. These connectors are made of high-quality stainless steel, providing
durability and resistance to corrosion.
They are suitable for use with water pressure up to 125 psi, with a maximum
intermittent impulse pressure.
It is important to inspect the product before installation and every six months thereafter (more frequently if you have hard water). This ensures that the connectors are in good condition and functioning properly. If any signs of damage, cracks, kinks, twists, corrosion, wear, breaks, leaks, or weeping are observed, the connectors should be immediately replaced.
Please note that these connectors are specifically designed for water use only and should not be used for gas connections. Additionally, it is crucial to follow building codes and construction standards during installation to avoid failure, leaks, floods, and property damage.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installing the connectors, shut off the water supply, gas, and electricity to the appliance.
- Select the appropriate length of the connector for your installation needs.
- Ensure that the minimum bend radius of 2.5 is maintained during installation to prevent damage to the connector.
- Inspect the connectors before installation to check for any visible damage or defects.
- Install the connectors in accessible locations only where they will be used for water supply.
- Avoid installing the connectors with twists, kinks, sharp angles, or loops in the line as these can internally damage the connectors.
- Do not use the connectors if they are damaged in any way.
- Avoid using thread lubricants, tape, or putty during installation.
- Do not over-tighten the connectors.
- If any signs of damage, cracks, kinks, twists, corrosion, wear, breaks, leaks, or weeping occur after installation, shut off the water immediately and replace the connectors. Do not reuse them.
