BUTTON Series Ceiling and Wall Luminaire

Product Information

  • The Button Series Ceiling/Wall is a designer luminaire created by Lukas Peet. It is powered by 12V DC and requires a constant voltage LED driver to operate. The LED driver needed may vary depending on the input voltage and dimming requirements. The luminaire comes in two sizes: Button 60 (60cm) and Button 90 (90cm). It can be mounted on either the ceiling or the wall.
  • The components of the luminaire include a backplate, #8-32 screws (2), LED driver, canopy screws (3), wire nut (4), electrical cord, canopy, luminaire body, acrylic diffuser, and rope.
  • For care instructions, always wear clean gloves when handling the luminaire. Clean finished surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth. The acrylic diffuser can be cleaned with a diluted solution of warm water and dish soap. For replacement parts, contact A-N-D directly.
  • Installation of the luminaire should be done by a qualified electrician in a dry indoor location. Failure to meet these criteria will void the warranty and certifications of the luminaire.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Determine the orientation of the luminaire. The rope can be oriented in three directions.
  2. Mount the backplate to the junction box using the provided #8-32 screws. Make sure to disconnect the power at the breaker before installation.
  3. Connect the primary circuit on the LED driver to the input power. Connect the ground using the black/brown wire for Line L and white/blue wire for Neutral N. Use the green screw for Ground G.
  4. Connect the luminaire to the secondary circuit on the LED driver. The dashed line represents the positive V+ connection and the black wire represents the negative V- connection.
  5. Attach the luminaire to the backplate using the provided color-matched canopy screws.

INSTALLATION NOTES

  • The luminaire is powered by 12V DC.
  • A constant voltage LED driver is required to operate the luminaire. The LED driver varies depending on input voltage and dimming requirements.
  • It is recommended that two people install the Button Ceiling/Wall; one to gently support the luminaire while the other makes the electrical and mechanical connections to the ceiling.
  • For questions regarding installation, please email info@a-n-d.com

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always wear clean gloves when handling the luminaire. Clean finished surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth. Clean acrylic difffuser with a soft lint-free cloth and a diluted solution of warm water and dish soap.

INSTALLATION

  • STEP 1:
Determine the orientation of the luminaire.

    • The rope is a visual element and can be oriented in three directions.

    • The position of the luminaire is determined by the position of the backplate.

    • The backplate allows for almost 360 degrees rotation.

  • STEP 2:
Mount the backplate to the junction box.

    • Use the provided #8-32 screws.
      Caution!
Ensure that the power is disconnected at the breaker.
  • STEP 3
Connect the primary circuit on the LED driver to input power. Connect ground.

    • Black/brown wire = Line L
    • White/blue wire = Neutral N
    • Green screw = Ground G
  • STEP 4
Connect the luminaire to secondary circuit on LED driver.

    • Dashed line = Positive V+
    • Black = Negative V-
  • STEP 5

    • Attach the luminaire to the backplate.
    • Use the provided colour matched canopy screws.
