SET UP
Place on flat, stable surface. Match flat sides of steam mask with Inhaler and
gently press mask on.
**FILL RESERVOIR
** Turn top housing counterclockwise To unlock and fill water reservoir. Line Up the arrow with lock symbol to lock.

DO NOT use additives or essential oil.
CAUTION : Unit and water will become hot. Only operate inhaler with base
and top housing in fully locked position.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. Failure to follow all of the instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
- DO NOT use this unit for any purpose other than described in this manual or packaging.
- Always turn off and unplug the inhaler after use.
- Do not leave the inhaler unattended while it is plugged in.
- Use only clean water to fill the water reservoir. DO NOT use hot water.
- Be sure that the top is correctly attached to the water reservoir.
- ALWAYS plug and unplug unit with dry hands to avoid electric shock.
- Never operate the inhaler with a damaged cord or plug or if inhaler was dropped or immersed in water.
- Always place the inhaler on a firm, flat, waterproof and heat resistant surface.
- Ensure the inhaler is placed so the power cord not placed near a heat source and is safely out of the way to prevent the inhaler from being tipped over.
- Do not drop, place or use the item while near or in water, bathtub, sink, etc.
- NEVER reach for the inhaler that has fallen into the water. Unplug the inhaler immediately.
- Do not add medication of any type directly into the water reservoir. Do not cover any openings on the unit or insert objects into any openings.
- When cleaning the inhaler, DO NOT fully immerse the unit in water.
- Do not tilt or tip the inhaler or attempt to empty or fill reservoir while it is in operation.
- Do not use the inhaler while drowsy.
- Always carry/lift the inhaler by the base. Do NOT lift the inhaler by the mask.
- Unplug the inhaler before filling the water reservoir with water.
- Do not attempt to repair this inhaler as this will void the warranty on the item.
- Children should be supervised while using this product to ensure it is used as described and intended in the manual.
- This product has been designed for personal use only. Do not use for industrial use.
- Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- Unplug this inhaler before filling. Fill (reservoir) with water only. Do not overfill (or specify filling instructions) .
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, or serious personal injury. The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the user that common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be built into this product, it must be supplied by the user.
SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS!
CAUTION: A short Power Supply Cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. I f an extension cord is required, special care and caution is necessary. Also, the extension cord must be (1) marked with an electrical rating of 110-240 V and at least 13 A., 1625 W., and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidently tripped over.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electric circuit is overloaded by other appliances, your inhaler and/or
appliances may not operate properly. The inhaler should be operated on a
separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.
POLARIZED PLUG
This inhaler has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a
safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended
to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
SAFETY WARNING
Although your inhaler is easy to operate, for your safety, the below warnings
must be followed:
- Do not place the inhaler near a heat source.
- Do NOT dispense medicine in the inhaler.
- Never leave the inhaler unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
- Change water with each use.
- Always use a clean steam mask with each use.
- Do not unplug from the wall socket by pulling on the supply cord.
- Do not move, tilt, shake or lift the inhaler while in operation as it contains hot water.
- Base, water reservoir and water will become hot.
- Do not operate the inhaler without water in the reservoir.
- The inhaler must be unplugged:
A. After each use.
B. Before filling the water reservoir.
C. Before any cleaning or maintenance is performed.

This equipment has been tested and found to complywith the limits for a Class
B ISM equipment, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more

- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

CAUTION
- DO NOT attempt to operate the inhaler without water in the water reservoir.
- DO NOT plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands as electric shock could occur
ASSEMBLY & USE
SET UP THE INHALER
- Fully unravel the cord.
- Place the inhaler on a flat, stable surface with the cord out of the way to avoid the inhaler being tipped over.
FILLING THE WATER RESERVOIR
Remove: Hold the inhaler and turn the top housing counterclockwise to
unlock the top from the base. Lift the top off the base.
Fill: Fill water into the water reservoir in the base.
Please Note: Do NOT add essential oils, medicine, vapor pads or any additives into the water reservoir. This inhaler is designed to be used with Halls Vapor pads. Do NOT dispense medicine in the inhaler.
Replace: Place the top body of the steam inhaler unit on the water reservoir base by lining up the on the top with the on the base. Turn the top clockwise to lock. (NOTE: The inhaler flash rapidly and will not heat up if the safety lock is not engaged)
CAUTION: NEVER operate the inhaler without the and fully aligned.
STEAM Mask (Latex Free Steam Mask is Dishwasher Safe)
Place steam mask on the body of the inhaler, do so by gently pressing the mask
onto the top of the inhaler (see Picture #1)
USING THE INHALER:
-
Connect the cord to the electrical outlet.
-
Press the power button to the ON position. The green light will flash while the inhaler warms up. The inhaler is ready for use when the green light is solid.
CAUTION: NEVER move, lift, shake or tilt the inhaler while it is in use or while it contains hot water. DO NOT remove the Mask or Top Housing after turning ON the inhaler. Steam is produced by boiling water; tilting or shaking unit can cause water to spill and possible burns.
NEVER operate the inhaler without the top housing and base in fully locked position.
CAUTION: DO NOT block any vents or put hands over the vents as hot steam may cause possible burns. The base, the water reservoir, vent and water will become hot. -
Place your face over the mask (Shown in picture 2 above), do NOT rest your face on the mask.

Breathe normally through your nose and mouth allowing the steam into our nasal and throat passages.

Press the power button to the OFF position.
AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF: When the inhaler runs out of water the light will turn RED and the unit will shut off automatically.
ADJUSTING THE STEAM SETTING
- For more steam: slide the steam control to the right.
- For less steam: slide the steam control to the left.
VAPOR PAD PRECAUTION
Not recommended for children under the age of 13
Vapor Pad Chamber (for use with Halls Vapor Pads) Prior to running the
inhaler, pull out the vapor pad compartment. Insert 1 or 2 vapor pads into the
compartment. Slide the compartment back into the vapor chamber. Change vapor
pad(s) with each session.

CAUTION: Do not ingest vapor pads. Keep out of reach of children and pets at all times. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have asthma, consult a doctor before use.
DO NOT USE if you suffer from epilepsy, pads may irritate skin and eyes.
In case of irritation on skin or contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water
and seek medical advice. If accidentally ingested, seek medical advice
immediately. In case of any discomfort stop usage and seek medical advice.
DO NOT place in microwave.
DO NOT place exposed pad on furniture, fabrics, bedding, and plastics.
DO NOT add any liquids to the pad.
WARNING: VAPOR PAD MAY PRESENT A CHOKING HAZARD.
MAINTENANCE

ALWAYS UNPLUG FROM THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE CLEANING.

Do not immerse the inhaler in water.

To Clean the Outside of the Inhaler:
Wipe down the outside of the inhaler with a dry cloth. Do not immerse the body of the inhaler in water. -
To clean the Latex Free Steam Mask:
To Clean Mask in Dishwasher: Place steam mask on TOP RACK only and run dishwasher on Normal setting. To Clean Mask by Hand: Remove the mask from the inhaler and wash with warm water and mild soap. Use a soft cloth or a soft brush to remove any residue. Allow the mask to air dry. -
To Clean the Water Reservoir:
Only clean water reservoir when the unit has cooled down completely. Add 1 tablespoon of water and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to water reservoir and let soak for 20 minutes and then empty and rinse the water reservoir.

STORING YOUR INHALER
- Turn off, unplug from outlet, and allow unit to cool down completely.
- Discard vapor pad from the chamber.
- Follow instructions for weekly maintenance above.
- Let all parts dry completely.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
TROUBLESHOOTING
DO NOT attempt to repair the inhaler yourself. If the inhaler continues to not operate, please contact Crane Customer Care.

Inhaler Does Not Have Any Power: | § Ensure unit is plugged into a |
wall outlet.§ Ensure a working outlet is being used.
There is a Strange Odor:| § Clean the water reservoir with a water
& white vinegar solution and rinse with clean water. (Page 8)
Inhaler is Leaking| § Ensure the top housing is attached securely onto
the base of the inhaler.
No Mist When the Unit is ON| § Wait 5-7 minutes for warm mist to start
being produced.
There is a rapid flashing red light| § Ensure the top housing is
locked into place onto the base of the unit.
