Automatic Calibration

The PCE-CMM 5 has the built-in self-correcting ABC algorithm (Automatic Baseline Correction) for automatic adjustment of the base value. This calibration is performed once a day.
For this, the PCE-CMM 5 needs a regular supply of fresh air. The reading is automatically adjusted.
The ABC function is permanently switched on (cannot be switched off) and adjusts the base value at regular intervals when the CO2 load is low. Do not use this meter in a closed environment where the CO2 concentration remains relatively high. This would negatively affect the self-correction of the device.

Load meter

As soon as the battery symbol on the display shows that the battery is discharged, the PCE-CMM 5 must be charged via the micro USB port. To do this, use the supplied charging cable and a USB power supply unit with 5 V / 2000 mA. Please note that it can take at least 2 hours before the battery is charged to 100% again.
Note : Charging via a 500 mA port on the computer/notebook is not possible. To charge the battery, the device must be connected to an external USB power pack with at least 5V/2A!
