Product Information: Skid Plate

The skid plate is a protective accessory designed to shield the underside of your bike’s frame from damage caused by rocks, debris, and other obstacles encountered during off-road riding. It is compatible with various bike models and comes in two versions: Part Number 24-1419 and Part Number 24-1419X.

Product Usage Instructions: Skid Plate Installation

  1. Position the skid plate against the frame, ensuring a proper fit.
  2. Using the provided M6x16mm Hex Head Bolt, secure the plate to the rear bracket using an 8mm Socket or T-Handle Wrench. Do not fully tighten the bolt at this time (see Figure 1).
  3. Using the two provided M6x16mm hex head bolts, fasten the front section of the plate to the frame mounts (see Figure 2).
  4. Once both the front and rear bolts have been started, you can begin tightening them while pressing the plate firmly against the bike.
  5. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened to avoid any loose or rattling parts.
  6. Verify that the skid plate is properly installed and aligned with the frame.

SKID PLATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Position the EE skid plate up against the frame. Using the Provided M6x16mm Hex Head Bolt, use an 8mm Socket or T-Handle Wrench to fasten the plate to the rear bracket, and do not tighten at this time (Fig 1).
  2. Using the two provided M6x16mm hex head bolt, fasten the front section of the plate to the frame mounts (Fig 2).
  3. Once the front and rear bolts have been started you can begin to tighten, while pressing the plate up against the bike.
