Product Usage Instructions

  1. Prepare the patient and the necessary equipment for catheter insertion
  2. Ensure that the catheter is properly sterilized before use.
  3. Select an appropriate insertion site and clean the area with an antiseptic solution.
  4. Using the provided introducer needle, perform the initial puncture at the selected site.
  5. Advance the catheter into the vessel while removing the introducer needle.
  6. Secure the catheter in place using the appropriate fixation method.
  7. Connect the Raulerson Spring-Wire Introduction Syringe to the catheter for priming.
  8. Prime the catheter by injecting 1.40 mL of fluid into the distal lumen and 1.60 mL into the proximal lumen.
  9. Ensure that the priming volumes are approximate and are done without accessories.
  10. Monitor the pressure and flow rate during dialysis using the provided dialysis flow rate chart.
  11. Follow the recommended flow rate for venous and arterial lines according to the chart.
