baby lock BLSO-BRF Bi-Level Foot

Product Information: Baby Lock Sewing Accessories – Bi-Level Foot – Right (BLSO-BRF)

The Bi-Level Foot – Right is a sewing accessory designed for use with Baby Lock sewing machines. This foot is specifically designed for perfect topstitching and edge stitching over seams and un-level areas. It is also helpful for quilting projects, allowing for precise topstitching along the edge of binding where areas may not be level. The foot is called “bi-level” because the underside of the foot is designed to compensate for different thicknesses of fabric, ensuring uniform and accurate stitching.

Machine Settings:

  • Stitch Type: Straight, zigzag, or decorative stitch
  • Stitch Width: Maximum 7mm
  • Stitch Length: 1-5mm

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Raise the presser foot and raise the needle to the highest position.
  2. Remove the standard presser foot from your Baby Lock sewing machine.
  3. Attach the Bi-Level Foot – Right to your sewing machine. Note that the foot may appear crooked when attached, but this is intentional as it compensates for different fabric thicknesses.
  4. Select the desired stitch on your sewing machine. The Bi-Level Foot – Right is typically used with a straight stitch.
  5. Align your fabric under the foot, placing the thicker fabric on the left side.
  6. Begin sewing to achieve perfect stitching.
