User manual for Solight 1L68 wireless doorbell
Dear customer, Thank you for purchasing our product. Avoid improper handling of this device and always follow the principles of using electrical appliances. Designed for home or indoor use. Do not expose the receiver (bell) to an environment with high humidity (e.g. bathroom), avoid contact with liquids.
Description
The set consists of a button (transmitter) and bells (receivers). Bell no.1 is
for permanent connection to the 230 V AC/50 Hz power mains. Bell no.2 is
battery-powered. The signal transmission between the button and the bells
takes place using radio waves with a
frequency of 433.92 MHz. The range depends on local conditions and reaches up
to 200 m in open space without interference. The set has a so-called pairing
function (Learning code) – the button is able to generate its own pairing code
that receives the doorbell
and stores it in its memory. The set can thus be expanded with additional
transmitters or receivers. The pairing feature also prevents the set from
affecting neighboring doorbells.
Receivers
Bell no. 1: Plug into a 230 V AC/50 Hz power outlet.
Bell no. 2: Open the battery cover and insert 3x AA alkaline 1.5V batteries.
Observe the marked polarity. The receiver can be freely erected, laid down or
hung on the mounting hole. Do not cover the speaker.
For both doorbells, set the melody and volume using the control buttons. The
volume level changes from lowest to highest and back again, with one beep each
time.
Transmitter:
Replacing the battery: Push the flathead screwdriver into the joint on the
short side and open the back cover. Using your finger or a flathead
screwdriver, release the latch also on the short side and swing the inner
cover to the side. Unclip the seal protecting the
battery from moisture ingress. Replace the 3V CR2032 battery, observing the
marked polarity. Then close the seal and both covers carefully.
Installation: The transmitter is waterproof and can be placed outdoors.
Prefer a location protected from water and excessive heat.
The transmitter can be mounted on a pad using double-sided self-adhesive pads
or screws with dowels, without or with a protective canopy.
Pairing function “Learning code”
The “Learning code” function allows you to pair several bells or buttons into
one group or to restore the connection between them.
This allows several buttons to ring one bell or one button to ring several
bells. A maximum of 15 buttons can be paired to one bell.
One button can be paired with up to 8 bells.
Assign a new transmitter to a receiver:
- Plug the receiver into a power outlet. Press and hold the button to change the melody for 3-4 seconds. The LED will flash rapidly. Release the volume button and allow the LED to flash.
- Bring the transmitter close to the receiver and press once. The selected melody will play. This assigns the transmitter to the receiver. The original transmitter is also assigned. Shown in Fig. 1.
Follow a similar procedure when assigning a new receiver to a transmitter. All previously paired receivers are also assigned to a transmitter. Shown in Figure 2.
Unpairing the buttons from the receiver, resetting the connection
If you have multiple transmitters paired to your receiver, there may be times
when you need to unpair one of the transmitters. It may also happen that the
wireless connection stops working.
-
Remove one battery from the receiver. Press and hold the button to change the tune while inserting the battery back in.
Keep the button pressed until the LED starts flashing rapidly. Then release the button. The connection memory is cleared.
The transmitters do not ring. -
Follow the procedure in the previous paragraph – Assigning a new transmitter to the receiver. Restore the connection.

Troubleshooting possible problems
If the receiver does not ring repeatedly after pressing a button on the transmitter, check:
- batteries. If necessary, replace with new ones.
- the distance between the transmitter and receiver is not too great.
- there are no strong sources of signal interference between the transmitter and receiver (radio and wireless networks, large metal objects, reinforced concrete walls, etc.).
