LITETRONICS AL-Series LED Area Light
Product Information
Area Light – AL-Series
The Area Light AL-Series is a lighting fixture designed for outdoor use. It
comes with various accessories and features that allow for easy installation
and customization.

Product Usage Instructions
Safety Instructions and Warnings
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be
observed. Please read the following instructions carefully before installing
the fixture and retain them for future reference.
Attention
- Please check for any shipping damage. If there is any damage, contact Litetronics customer service.
- Read the installation instructions carefully to check if all accessories are included.
- After confirmation, install the fixture according to the installation steps.
Wiring Diagram
Please refer to Figure 1 for the wiring diagram for 120V and 277V
installations. For 240V, follow the 480V wiring instructions. For 347V, follow
the 120-277V wiring instructions. For 480V, follow the diagram in Figure 2.
Instructions for Shorting Cap
- Unless an optional Photocell device is to be installed, the shorting cap should be installed on the back of the light. Refer to Figure 3.
- CCT & Wattage adjustment:
- Unscrew the 3/4 plug (CCT & Wattage Selector) as shown in Figure 4.
- Adjust the integrated switch for CCT & Wattage adjustment to get the desired CCT and Wattage according to the label on the fixture.
- Install and tighten the 3/4 plug.
Installation Procedure
Installation of LED Light
- Turn off power.
- Slip Fitter Mounting:
- Connect the wire correctly as per Figure 1 and Figure 2, and put the wires into the pole. Then fasten the locking bolts between slip fitter and the pole. Refer to Figure 5.
- Loosen the adjusting bolt, tilt the fixture to the required angle. Tighten the adjusting bolt after the angle is confirmed. Exhibit caution while tilting to minimize unwanted light trespass and sky glow. Refer to Figure 6.
- Make sure the installation is complete and secure before turning on the power.
Lens Rotation Instructions
The lens default setting has the center marker on the fixture set to Type III.
To rotate the lens, follow these steps:
- Turn off power.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 25 screws that hold the lens in place.
- Remove the lens.
- To adjust the lens to a left/forward distribution, rotate the lens as required. The lens should be correctly set at the center square slot at the base of the fixture.
- Secure the lens in the proper position and replace all 25 screws.
- Make sure the installation is complete and secure before turning on the power.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE OBSERVED. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
- Litetronics fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes.
- Risk of fire or electric shock. Area light installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.
- Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.
- Area light must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment – grounding conductor.
- Make sure the supply voltage is the same as the rated luminaire voltage.
- Only the open holes indicated in the photographs and/or drawings may be made or altered as a result of this kit installation. Do not leave any other open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or sharp objects.
- Suitable for wet locations.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
WIRING DIAGRAM
- For 240V, follow 480V wiring instructions
- For 347V, follow 120-277V wiring instructions
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHORTING CAP

Unless optional Photocell device (Ordered Separately) is to be installed, shorting cap should be installed on the back of light: (Figure 3)

CCT & Wattage adjustment (Figure 4)
- Step 1: Unscrew the 3/4 plug (CCT & Wattage Selector)
- Step 2: Adjust the integrated switch for CCT & Wattage adjustment to get the desired CCT and Wattage according to the label on the fixture;
- Step 3: Install and tighten the 3/4 plug;
INSTALLATION OF LED LIGHT

Turn off power.

Slip Fitter Mounting

Notice: Adjustable angle is 0~+/-90° (Figure 5)

Make sure the installation is complete and secure before turning on the power
THE LENS DEFAULT SETTING, THE CENTER MARKER ON THE FIXTURE IS SET TO “TYPE III”. (FIGURE 7)
Lens rotation instructions (if required). To rotate the lens follow the next steps:
- Step 1: Turn off power.
- Step 2: Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 25 screws that hold the lens in place.
- Step 3: Remove lens.
- Step 4: To adjust lens to a left/forward distribution rotate lens clockwise 90°. To confirm proper rotation, the letter “L” should be correctly set at the center square slot at the base of the fixture. (Figure 8)
- Step 5: To adjust lens to a right/forward distribution rotate lens counter-clockwise 90°. To confirm proper rotation, the letter “R” should be correctly set at the center square slot at the base of the fixture. (Figure 9)
- Step 6: Secure lens is in the proper position and replace all 25 screws.
- Step 7: Make sure the installation is complete and secure before turn on the power
