OZOTECH EOG Enhanced Oxidation Generator

Product Information
The product mentioned in the user manual is OzotechEOG. It is a device that is used in conjunction with a control valve to program ozone start and end schedules.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Disconnect power to the control valve.
  2. Remove the front cover from the valve backplate.
  3. Release the control board bracket from the backplate.
  4. Replace the control valve front cover.
  5. Plug the supplied wall transformer into a wall outlet.
  6. Plug the male DC plug into the female DC jack located at the back of the OzotechEOG.
  7. Program ozone start and end schedule using the control valve PCB:
    • Enter cycle programming mode.
    • Set backwash to 14 minutes.
    • Set draw time to 40 minutes.
    • Turn off the fill.
    • Turn off the rinse.
    • Set the relay to on.
    • Set the relay on time to 15 minutes (one minute longer than backwash).
    • Set the relay duration for 38 minutes (2 minutes less than the draw time).
    • Return to service.
    • Press the regeneration button to lock in timing.

EOG Installation Pre-Field Install

  1. Mount the OzotechEOG to the Clack® control valve. A #2 Philips screwdriver will be required.
    • Install clamp ring into OzotechEOG backplate receiver.
    • Install port clip into OzotechEOG backplate receiver.
    • Loosen the clamp screw, and slide the clamp over the valve injector cap.
    • Rotate OzotechEOG counterclockwise to secure the port clip. Tighten the clamp screw.
  2. Disconnect power to the control valve. Remove the front cover from the valve backplate. Release the control board bracket from the backplate.
  3. Route the grey control wire from the OzotechEOG into the Clack® valve housing through the hole in the backplate, and through the strain relief channel above to keep the wiring in place.
    • Leave enough wire length to connect to the signal relay terminal block of the control circuit board. Make sure the wire is flush in the channel for proper bracket installation.
    • Replace the control board bracket into the backplate until it “snaps” into place.
  4. Secure red wire into RLY 1 terminal, and black wire into +COM the terminal on the Clack® control board.
  5. Replace the control valve front cover.
  6. Plug the supplied wall transformer into a wall outlet. Plug the male DC plug into the female DC jack located at the back of the OzotechEOG.
  7. Program ozone start and end schedule using control valve PCB.
    • Enter cycle programming mode
    • Set backwash to 14 minutes
    • Set draw time to 40 minutes
    • Turn off fill
    • Turn off rinse
    • Set relay to “on”
    • Set the relay on time to 15 minutes (one minute longer than backwash)
    • Set the relay duration for 38 minutes (2 minutes less than the draw time)
    • Return to service
    • Press the regeneration button to lock in the timing
