Product Feature

The new series of Varmilo mechanical keyboards use high quality mechanical switches and Varmilo’s own EC switches to guarantee the stable internal structures and tactility.

Daily Maintenance

To clean a keyboard, pull out the keycaps using a key puller, put the keyboard upside down, pat the back of the keyboard to pour out impurity, and brush off the impurity and dust that are adhered to the keys. If residuals exist, wipe them off using a clean cloth with some alcohol. After that, dry the keyboard in a cool and ventilated place.To avoid a loose or fallen USB port, do not frequently plug,unplug, drag or bend a keyboard cable, especially for a keyboard with separate cable and keys.

Layout

Instructions of the LEDs

  1. Charging Indicator: The white light will be Constantly on while charging and off after fully charged.
    The Indicator will blink rapidly when the battery is low.

  2. Bluetooth Indicators (Number Keys 1,2, and 3): The corresponding key blinks when waiting for pairing.
    The white light will be Constantly on when successfully connected.

  3. 2.4G Indicator: The Indicator blinks when waiting for pairing. The white light will be Constantly on when successfully connected.

  4. Num Lock Indicator: Lights on when the keypad is off. Light off when it’s on.

  5. Caps Lock Indicator: Lights on for upper case, lights off for lower case.

  6. Scroll Lock Indicator: Lights on when locked, lights off when unlocked.

  • Press Fn+ the right Alt to check the Bluetooth or 2.4G Indicators. Number keys 1, 2 and 3 corresponding to Bluetooth channel 1,2, and 3.
    (In this mode, the indicator will blink when searching, hold on when connected.)
    Number key 4 indicates the 2.4G channel. (blinks slowly when unconnected, blinks rapidly when pairing, and keeps on when connected.)

Turn on/off the Bluetooth and 2.4G

  • Hold Fn+Insert for 3s to turn on the keyboard. One of the indicators of channel 1,2,3, and 4 will be Constantly on when the corresponding channel is successfully connected.
  • Hold Fn+Insert for 3s to turn off the keyboard and all lights off.
  • Memory Function: Turn off the keyboard During connected, the last connected channel will be memorized.

Device Connection
Bluetooth Pairing

  • Press Fn+F1/F2/f3 (corresponding to channel 1,2 and 3), the indicator of number key 1/2/3 will blink slowly and the Bluetooth will start pairing for 3 min. The Bluetooth name is Varmilo VS-1/2/3.
    White light will be Constantly on when successfully connected.

  • Hold Fn+F1/F2/F3 (corresponding to channel 1,2 and 3) for 5s to disconnect the device and reconnect.

Switch Between Wired, Bluetooth and 2.4G

  • As the USB cable is connected, press Fn+Delete to switch between Bluetooth, 2.4G and wired mode.
  • Under wired mode, press Fn+Delete to switch to Bluetooth or 2.4G mode and connect to the last paired Bluetooth or 2.4G device. (When you first use the keyboard and switch to wireless mode, the default mode is Bluetooth channel 1.)
  • Under wired mode, press Fn+F1, F2, F3, F4 to switch to Bluetooth channel 1,2 and 3 or 2.4G mode.
  • Under wired mode, unplug the USB cable, the keyboard will automatically connect to the last paired Bluetooth or 2.4G device.
  • When the Bluetooth and 2.4G mode is off, plug the cable to automatically switch to wired mode.

Power Saving (Bluetooth or 2.4G mode)

  • Hold Fn+1 for 3s, the CapsLock key will blink for 3 times. The keyboard will enter power saving mode in 5 minutes if no key press is detected.
  • Hold Fn+2 for 3s, the CapsLock key will blink for 3 times. The keyboard will enter power saving mode in 30 minutes if no key press is detected.
  • Hold Fn+3 for 3s, the CapsLock key will blink for 3 times. The keyboard will not enter power saving mode.

Light Effects

  • Brightness Adjustment: Press Fn + ↑, the brightness of the backlight will increase.
    Press Fn + ↓, the brightness of the backlight will decrease.

  • Breathing Effects: Press Fn + → to turn on/off the breathing effects.
    Press Fn + ↑, the speed of breathing will increase.
    Press Fn + ↓, the speed of breathing will decrease.
    (The brightness of backlight is nonadjustable under breathing mode.)

Other Functions

  • Press Fn + Alt + Win to lock Win key. Press Fn + Win to unlock Win key.
  • Hold Fn+ the left Win for 3s to swap function between Fn and the left Win.
  • Hold Fn + the left Ctrl for 3s, the CapsLock key will blink for 3 times and the function between Fn and the left Ctrl will be swapped.
  • Hold Fn + Capslock for 3s to swap back.
  • Press Fn + the right Ctrl to display the Menu Bar of current working window.(Equal to a right click.)

Reset

  • Hold Fn+Esc for 5s to reset the keyboard.

Attention

  • Hold Fn first, then press other combination keys to complete an operation including Fn key.
    The release can be in no particular order.
