Product Usage Instructions
- Daily Maintenance:
To clean the keyboard, follow these steps:
- Use a key puller to remove the keycaps.
- Turn the keyboard upside down and gently pat the back to remove any impurities.
- Brush off any impurity and dust that are adhered to the keys.
- If there are any residuals, use a clean cloth with some alcohol to wipe them off.
- Dry the keyboard in a cool and ventilated place.
Note: To avoid damage to the USB port, do not frequently plug, unplug, drag or bend the keyboard cable, especially for keyboards with separate cable and keys.
Bluetooth Mode:
To boot the keyboard in Bluetooth mode:
- Follow the device’s connection instructions.
To power off the keyboard in Bluetooth mode:
- Follow the device’s power off instructions.
Other Functions:
The keyboard has special functions accessible through the following multi- media keys:
- Music player
- Calculator
- My PC

Warranty Information:
Varmilo provides after-sales service in accordance with the laws of the
People’s Republic of China. The warranty conditions are as follows:
- Free warranty period is one year.
- Damage caused by man-made factors, natural disasters, or exceeding the warranty period is not covered under free warranty.
- Consumables and gift accessories are not covered under free warranty.
- Paid maintenance service is available for products no longer under free warranty.

Daily Maintenance
To clean a keyboard, pull out the keycaps using a key puller, put the keyboard upside down, pat the back of the keyboard to pour out impurity, and brush off the impurity and dust that are adhered to the keys. If residuals exist, wipe them off using a clean cloth with some alcohol. After that, dry the keyboard in a cool and ventilated place.To avoid a loose or fallen USB port, do not frequently plug,unplug, drag or bend a keyboard cable, especially for a keyboard with separate cable and keys.
Standard accessories list
Bluetooth mode boot
- Press FN+Insert for 3 seconds to switch on the keyboard (If 1,2,3 flashing, then the keyboard has been turned on)
Device connection
- After switching on the keyboard, you need to search the keyboard on your PC. The keyboard shows as“Varmilo VD-1”(Varmilo VD-2 for F2 Channel and Varmilo VD-3 for F3 Channel)
- The first time for the keyboard to pair with you device needs to enter a code. After you entered the code, you can press the ‘Enter’ key to confirm the connection. If the keyboard connected successfully with your device, the LED of 1 key will keep on and keyboard information is saved. (2 and 3 channel would be the same)
- Memory function: If you used to connected with a device successfully, the keyboard will connect with the last device connected directly after turning on. (Bluetooth launch for 5 minutes. If there is no device connection within this period, the keyboard will automatically come to sleep state)
Bluetooth mode power off
- Under the Bluetooth mode, press Fn+Insert button for 3 seconds to power off the keyboard .
- Once the bluetooth is disconnected, the keyboard will automatically switched to wired mode when plug in the USB Cable
Bluetooth mode to Wired mode
- Under the state of the Bluetooth mode, press the Fn+Delete key to switch to wired mode, and the less of 1, 2 and 3 keys are off.
Device Swapping
- Press FN+Delete to connect the device latest paired, if it hasn’t connected to the device, then it would go to the ‘pair mode’
- You can press FN+F1,FN+F2,FN+F3 to swap to the corresponding channel. If the channel have not connected to any device before, then the LED would flash and swap to the ‘pair mode’.
- Under wired mode, if you pull out the USB cable, then the keyboard would swap to wireless mode automatically and connected to the latest device.
Power saving mode
- 5 minutes sleep without operation: Press Fn+Key ‘1’ for 5 seconds till CapsLock flash for 3 times.
- 30 minutes sleep without operation: Press Fn+Key ‘2’ for 5 seconds till CapsLock flash for 3 times.
- Press Fn+Key ‘3’ for 5 seconds till CapsLock flash for 3 times, will keep the keyboard awake.
Re-paired
- You can press FN+F1/F2/F3 for 5 seconds(the corresponding channel) to stop the connect with your device, and the keyboard will swap to the pair mode and could be connected to new devices.
Low-battery reminder
- If the ESC key flashes, that means the keyboard is in low battery, and it need to be charged as soon as possible.
Charging tips
- The LED of (~
) keeps on when the keyboard is charging. And the LED of (~
) key will turn off when the keyboard is fully charged. (The keyboard will be charged automatically under wired mode.)
System Compatibility
- Compatible with Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS under wireless mode(Mac’s own shortcut keys excluded) ( built-in or external bluetooth4.0 and above)
Multi-media functions
- Varmilo mechanical keyboards are featured with rich multi-media functions. To enable a multi-media function, press Fn and the key corresponding to the function.
One key reset
- Pressing Fn+Esc for more than 5 seconds, the CapsLock light flashes for three times, the keyboard will restore to default settings.
Other functions
- Fn+ Right Ctrl: Application Key.
- Fn+Win: Enable/Disable Win key.
- Fn+left Win (more than 3 seconds), CapsLock flashes three times, Fn and left Win key swapped.
- Fn+left Ctrl (more than 3 seconds), CapsLock flashes three times, Capslock and left Ctrl key swapped.
- The keyboard is 6 key rollover under wireless mode. And it’s also 6 key rollover under wired mode in the default settings, you can press FN+S for 5 seconds till CapsLock flash for 3 times, to swap it to NKRO.
