VARMILO VXB67 Mechanical Keyboard
Preface
Varmilo comes from Esperanto “Viaarmilo, which means the unique keyboard
customized for you. We were born to meet customers’ personalities and variety
as well as keep good craftsmanship and stable quality. Varmilo is aiming at

Product Feature
The new series of Varmilo mechanical keyboards use high-quality mechanical switches and Varmilo’s own EC switches to guarantee stable internal structures and tactility.
Daily Maintenance
To clean a keyboard, pull out the keycaps using a key puller, put the keyboard upside down, pat the back of the keyboard to pour out impurity, and brush off the impurity and dust that are adhered to the keys. If residuals exist, wipe them off using a clean cloth with some alcohol. After that, dry the keyboard in a cool and ventilated place. To avoid a loose or fallen USB port, do not frequently plug. unplug, drag or bend a keyb0ard cable, especially for a keyboard with separate cable and keys.
Layout
Indicator Lights
- Esc indicator light: Esc lights up during charging, lights off when the battery is full.
- Bluetooth indicator light: Number keys 1 to 3 are Bluetooth indicator lights. They flash when waiting for pairing. After the keyboard is connected to a device, these three number key will no longer serve as Bluetooth indicator.
- Caps Lock indicator light: lights up for uppercase, lights off for lowercase.
- F row indicator light: lights up for F row functions, lights off (as default) for numbers.
Bluetooth Pairing
- After the Bluetooth is on, search for Bluetooth device on your device and the names shown under Channel 1 to Channel 3 are Varmilo VD-1, Varmilo VD-2 and Varmilo VD-3 respectively.
- The first time of pairing requires a password. Then press Enter to confirm the connection. After the successful pairing, number key 1 will light up and the Bluetooth device will be saved.
- Bluetooth memory: After turning on (or switching to wired mode), Bluetooth will automatically connect to the latest gadget. The Bluetooth launcher lasts for five minutes, during which the keyboard will automatically enter sleep mode if no connection is detected.
System Compatibility
- Wired mode: compatible to Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Wireless mode: compatible to Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Bluetooth On/Off
- Press Space for three times within two seconds to power on. When number key 1, 2 or 3 flashes, it means the keyboard is on.
- Press and hold Fn + Delete for three seconds to power off.
Switch Between Bluetooth and Wired Mode
- In Bluetooth mode, plug in the USB cable and the keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode. Then number 1 to 3 Bluetooth indicator light will turn off. In wired mode, plug out the USB cable and the keyboard will automatically switch back to Bluetooth mode and connect to the latest gadget. In no previous connection is detected, number 1/2/3 indicator light will flash for pairing.
- In wired mode, press Fn + Q/W/E can swiftly switch among channel 1, 2 and 3. If the channel has not connected to any Bluetooth \ device yet, the indicator will flash and enter pairing mode.
- In wired mode, press Fn + Delete to swiftly switch between Bluetooth mode and wired mode.
Pair New Device
- Press and hold Fn + Q/W/E (for Channel 1, 2 and 3 respectively) for five seconds to disconnect Bluetooth. The corresponding indicator will flash and the channel will then enter pairing mode again to connect new device.
Power Saving Mode
- Press and hold Fn + Ctrl + 1 for three seconds, Caps Lock will flash for three times.
- Then the keyboard will enter a power-saving mode in 5 minutes if no key press is detected.
- Press and hold Fn + Ctrl + 2 for three seconds, Caps Lock will flash for three times.
- Then the keyboard will enter a power-saving mode in 30 minutes if no key press is detected.
- Press and hold Fn + Ctrl + 3 for three seconds, Caps Lock will flash for three times.
- Then the keyboard will not enter power-saving mode.
- The keyboard is set to enter power saving in 30 minutes if no key press is detected (the second mode above) as default.
- Press Space to wake up the keyboard after it enters power-saving mode.
In PC Hibernate Mode and Sleep Mode
- When the keyboard is in wired mode: the keyboard enters sleep mode as the PC does. Press Space to wake them up.
- When the keyboard is in wired mode: the keyboard enters hibernate mode as the PC does. Press Space to wake up the keyboard while press the power button to wake up the PC.
- When the keyboard is in Bluetooth mode: when the PC sleeps or hibernates, the Bluetooth service will disconnect. The keyboard will then enter sleep/hibernate mode in 5/30 minutes if no key press is detected. Press Space to wake up the keyboard. Mouse or other wired devices is need to wake up the PC.
Low Battery Warning & Charging Notification
- F row indicator light flashes as low battery warning when the battery is running out. If no charging detected in 10 minutes after the low battery warning, the Bluetooth connection will automatically disconnect.
- All 5V power supplies including computer, charger or power bank can charge the keyboard.
- Esc lights up when the battery is charging. It lights off when the battery is full. The keyboard will automatically charge when the USB cable plugs in.
- When the keyboard is charged with 5V power supply in wired mode or in light effects, Esc will serve as the charging indicator light for the first eight seconds. Then press Fn + the right Alt to enter/quit the indicator mode.
Light Effects
Press Fn+X to turn on/off light effects. Light effects are off as default .
LOGO Backlight
- Brighter: Press Fn + Alt + ↑. Dimmer: Press Fn + Alt + ↓.
Six grades of brightness adjustable. The brightness of 60% is the default setting. A single key combination adjust the brightness by 20%.
Numbers/F row and Caps Lock Indicator Brightness
- Brighter: Press Fn + Alt + ←. Dimmer: Press Fn + Alt + →.

Special Function Keys
- Switch from numbers to F row: Press Fn + PgUp, the second (bottom) indicator lights off, numbers are enabled;
- Switch from back to numbers (default setting): Press Fn + PgDn, the second (bottom) indicator lights up, F row is enabled.
- Numbers enabled: press Fn + number keys to activate F row, like Fn + 1 = F1
- F row enabled: press Fn + F keys to activate numbers, like Fn + F1 = 1
- Press Fn + Alt + Win to lock/unlock Win.
- Press and hold Fn + the left Ctrl for three seconds, Caps Lock flashes for three times, Caps Lock will toggle with the left Ctrl.
- Bluetooth mode supports only six-key anti-ghosting;
- in wired mode, all-key anti-ghosting is set as default. Press and hold Fn + S for three seconds, Caps Lock flashes for three times, toggle between six-key and all-key anti-ghosting.
Reset
- Reset the key settings: Press Fn + D + Backspace, Caps Lock flashes for three times, all key settings will be reset to original manufacturer settings.
- Factory Reset: Press and hold Fn + D for three seconds, Caps Lock flashes for three times, all key codes, light effects and Bluetooth connection history will all be factory reset.
