Product Information

The Elite Race Cars is a remote-controlled toy car manufactured by Nikko Toys Ltd. It is a high-performance racing car designed for enthusiasts. The car features advanced pairing and alignment technology, allowing it to be controlled seamlessly using the included remote.

Product Usage Instructions

Pairing and Alignment:

When using the Elite Race Cars for the first time, the vehicle and controller must be linked. Follow these steps:

  1. Install the batteries into the vehicle.
  2. Install the batteries into the remote.
  3. Switch the vehicle to the ON position.
  4. Press the button on the remote. It will light up, indicating that it is ON.
  5. The vehicle will pair to the remote automatically.

If pairing is unsuccessful, remove the batteries and repeat steps 1-5.

How to Adjust Trim Lever:

Before operating the vehicle, adjust the trim lever to ensure proper steering. Follow these steps:

  • Steering Trim (ST.W): Use the Steering Trim to fine-tune the steering.
  • Lift up the vehicle by placing it on a stable object.
  • Turn ON the vehicle.
  • Turn ON the transmitter (remote).
  • Turn the Steering Trim – ST.W knob on the transmitter either left or right until the front wheels are straight.

Note : Keep the instruction sheet as it contains important information.

Charging Instructions and Battery Installation:

  1. Loosen the battery cover screw and remove the cover.
  2. Install the batteries into the vehicle.
  3. Install the batteries into the remote.

After charging, the battery pack may feel warm, which is normal.

Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.

  • This product and its accessories are not suitable for children under the age of 36 months, because of small parts that can be swallowed.
  • Intended for children age 8 and older.
  • Adult supervision strongly recommended.
  • Drive your vehicle in a safe area away from people, pets, cars, etc.
  • Do not drive on streets or after dark.
  • Be a responsible operator.
  • Do not touch or try to pick up the vehicle when it is in motion. Wait until it has stopped completely.
  • Keep hair, fingers, face and loose clothing away from front and rear wheels while the vehicle is switched on or while the controller is operating.
  • Do not drop or give impact to the product and its accessories.
  • Never attempt to disassemble or modify the product or its accessories.

IMPORTANT BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

CAUTION : TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE.
NOTE : BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED PROPERLY.
Contact your local area office of solid waste management or other appropriate local agency for information.

  • Make sure the batteries are inserted with correct polarity and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Use only battery type(s) recommended.
  • Do not attempt to short-circuit, charge, disassemble or heat batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire or make them wet.
  • Do not mix or use new and old batteries together.
  • Do not mix or use different types of batteries together.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged because of the danger of eruption.
  • Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
  • Recharge batteries only under adult supervision and follow the battery and charger manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be charged by adult only.
  • Battery replacement should be done in the presence of an adult.
  • Remove batteries from the product for storage. The battery may be hot.
  • After use, be sure to turn the switch off. Failure to do SO may adversely affect batteries, resulting in disabled charged.
  • Remove weak or exhausted batteries from the product.
  • Dispose of batteries safely and properly, according to your local requirements.
  • Chargers used with the toy are to be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts, and that, in the event of such damage, the toy must not be used with this charger until the damage has been repaired.

  1. Turn vehicle to the “Off” position.
  2. Loosen screw on the battery cover and remove cover.
  3. Connect the battery pack to the vehicle as shown.
  4. Plug the charging cable into the vehicle and USB device as shown.
  5. The red light on the vehicle indicates that the battery is charging. The red light will turn off when the battery is fully charged. Normal charging time is 60-80 minutes depending on the USB charger.
  6. Unplug the charger USB cable from the charger and from the vehicle.
  7. After charging, the battery pack may feel warm. This is normal.

WARNING: ONLY ALLOW CHILDREN AT LEAST 8 YEARS OLD TO USE THE BATTERY CHARGER.

CONTROL LINKING IMPORTANT:

  • This vehicle uses an automatic system to link the vehicle with the controller. For multi-vehicle play, this process must be completed one by one for each vehicle.
  • Attempting to link multiple vehicles at the same time will cause miss matching of controllers. When used for the first time, the Vehicle and Controller must be linked.

  1. Install the batteries into the vehicle.
  2. Install the batteries into the remote.
  3. Switch the vehicle to the “ON” position. 4) Press the button on the remote. It will light up indicating that it is “ON.”
  4. The vehicle will pair to the remote automatically.

If linking is unsuccessful, remove the batteries and repeat steps 1-5.
NOTE : For best performance, always use alkaline batteries only. To remove the batteries, reverse the installation procedure.

  • Before operating the vehicle, adjust the trim lever first.

STEERING TRIM (ST.W)

  • The “Steering Trim” is to fine-tune the steering. If the front wheels are not straight, adjust the “Steering Trim” either left right until the wheels are straight. lift up the vehicle by putting it on a stable object.
  • Turn ON the vehicle.
  • Turn ON the transmitter.
  • Turn the “Steering Trim” – ST.W knob on the transmitter either left or right until the front wheels are straight.

TROUBLESHOOTING AND CARE FOR R/C VEHICLE

R/C VEHICLE DOES NOT MOVE / TRACKS DO NOT MOVE

  • Is the power switch turned to ON position?
  • Are the batteries weak or out of power?
  • Are the battery installation and control linking completed?
  • Have the controller and vehicle lost 2.4GHz connection?
  • See “BATTERY INSTALLATION AND CONTROL LINKING”
  • Are the + and – contacts correctly matched to the batteries?

PERFORMANCE DROP, INCONSISTENT MOVEMENT OR FAILURE TO RUN

  • Are the batteries weak or out of power?
  • Check batteries. If necessary, recharge battery pack and/or replace the batteries in the R/C vehicle and controller with new alkaline batteries.
  • Are the batteries installed properly?
