Intended use
This product is designed to provide a cooling effect via circulated air. The desk fan comes with a USB cable and can be connected directly to a computer USB port. Alternatively, the USB plug can be connected to a mains socket via an external USB power adapter. The direction of the air flow can be adjusted vertically. This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, for example in bathrooms, must be avoided. For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. - a) General information
- This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
- Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapors, and solvents.
- If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent unauthorised use. The safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
- Handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height may damage the product.
- Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if you have concerns about safety.
- Maintenance, modifications and repairs may only be carried out by a technician or a specialist repair centre.
- If you have questions that remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
- b) Connected devices
- Always observe the safety information and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.
- c) Persons and product
- This product is designed for private use only.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
- Do not immerse the fan in water. Risk of electric shock, especially when using a power adapter!
- The device must not be used in the vicinity of a bathtub or shower or a washbasin filled with water.
- If water gets inside the device, ask a technician to inspect it before turning it back on.
- Only use the product in temperate climates. It is not suitable for use in tropical climates.
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight. In addition, do not use the device next to appliances that produce heat such as ovens or stoves.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged. To prevent hazards, defective parts must only be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person.
- Never open the appliance.
- Do not use the fan near an open window, as this may result in a short circuit if the fan comes into contact with rainwater.
- The protective grille must not be removed before the fan has been disconnected from the power supply. Never use the fan without the protective grille.
- When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
- Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. Risk of injury.

Operation
- Place the fan on a dry, clean, non-slip, and level surface. The non-slip feet (4) ensure that the device stays in place and prevents vibrations during use.
- Insert the round low-voltage plug on the USB cable (8) into the low-voltage socket (1) on the fan.
- Connect the USB-A plug on the USB cable to a USB port on your computer or an external power adapter (not included).
- If using a USB power adapter, connect it to a suitable mains socket via the mains plug. Only use a power adapter that connects to an AC mains voltage and meets the specifications in the “Technical data” section (5 V/DC).
- The protective grille (3 and 6) on the fan can be tilted to adjust the direction of the airflow.
- Use the on/off switch (2) to switch the fan on/off.
Care and cleaning
- a) General information Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the housing or stop the product from functioning properly.
- Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning session.
- Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
- Clean the fan and the protective grille with a dry dust cloth.
- Store the device in a dry, cool location away from moisture and direct sunlight.
- b) Cleaning the fan blades
- If the fan blades (5) are very dirty, the front protective grille (6) can be detached from the rear protective grille (3) to facilitate cleaning.
- Loosen the three screws and nuts (7). Hold the nuts in place with a pair of combination pliers (or similar tools) and simultaneously loosen the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Carefully remove the front protective grille (6). Ensure that the fan blades are not damaged when removing the protective grille.
- Carefully clean the fan blades with a dust cloth or a fine brush.
- Caution, risk of injury! The fan blades are made of metal. The edges of the fan blades are very sharp.
- Replace the front protective grille and secure it in place. Tighten the screws only slightly at first. Once you have screwed in all three screws and nuts, tighten each one manually until sufficiently secure.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household
waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and
contribute to environmental protection
