Product Information

The powerCON TRUE1 TOP is a connector used for power applications. It is designed for appliances that require both power input and output connections. The connector has various models with different specifications. It meets the approval standards of VDE EN 60320-1, UL 60320-1, and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60320-1. The rating of the connector depends on the cable type and diameter.

Rating:

Cable Type: H05VV-F3G, H07RN-F3G, SJTOW, SJOOW
Cable O.D.: 1.0 mm2 to 2.5 mm2 (H05VV-F3G), 1.5 mm2 (H07RN-F3G), 3 x 12 AWG (SJTOW, SJOOW)

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Insert the cable into the bushing and housing. Apply cable pulling lubricant to the cable jacket.
  2. Separate the housing from the bushing while leaving the cable in the bushing.
  3. Place the chuck over the cable.
  4. Prepare the cable as shown in the instructions.
  5. Insert the wires into the terminals and fasten the screw with Torx size T8. Apply a torque value of 0.7 Nm.
  6. Push and turn simultaneously to slide the chuck and insert together into the housing. Align the chuck and insert by positioning the nose into the keyway.
  7. Apply a torque value of 2.0 Nm to secure the connection.
  8. To disassemble, open the twist lock on the bushing. Slide the bushing up the cable and tighten it with the provided tool. Use a wrench size of 13 mm. Ensure the black O-ring is hidden to achieve IP protection.

Safety Information:

  • Do not expose the connection to bending forces or attach loads to the cable.
  • Replace the connector if any parts are broken or excessively worn for safety and certification reasons.

  • It is intended for use as an appliance coupler and interconnection coupler.
  • It serves to supply power to an appliance and from an appliance to other equipment.
  • To be installed by qualified person only.

ASSEMBLY INFORMATION

  • Insert cable into the bushing and housing.
    Note : “Apply cable pulling lubricant to the cable jacket

  • Separate the housing from the bushing (cable remains in the bushing)

  • Place the chuck over the cable.

  • Prepare cable as shown.
    Recommendation:
    Wire Pulling Lubricant – LUB-I/0.95 TM from 3M

  • Slide the chuck onto the insert (1) and then both together into housing (2).
    Important : Align the chuck and insert by positioning the nose into the keyway.

  • Slide the bushing up the cable and tighten it with the tool as shown.

FOR DISASSEMBLY OPEN TWIST LOCK!

  1. Press with a screwdriver to unlock
  2. Turn to bush 360°.
  3. Repeat steps 1 + 2 until the bushing is unscrewedNEUTRIK-NAC3MX-W-TOP-Cable-Connector-fig- \(6\)

CAUTION
To ensure the protection category, do not expose the connection to bending forces (e.g. do not attach loads to the cable, no free-dangling cable windings etc.).

SAFETY WARNING
For safety and certification reasons the connector must be replaced in case of any broken parts or excessive wear and tear.
