Product Usage Instructions
1. Installation
- Ensure that the power to the host device is turned off.
- Locate the SFP transceiver slot on the host device.
- Gently insert the SFP transceiver into the slot, ensuring that the duplex LC connector is properly aligned with the slot.
- Apply gentle pressure to firmly secure the SFP transceiver in place.
- Turn on the power to the host device.
2. Connection
Connect the SFP transceiver to the appropriate optical port using a single mode fiber optic cable with LC connectors. Ensure that the connections are securely made.
3. Power Supply
The SFP transceiver requires a single +3.3V power supply. Ensure that the power supply meets the specified voltage requirements.
4. Operation
Once the SFP transceiver is installed and connected, it will start operating automatically. No further configuration is required.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with the SFP transceiver, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact customer support for assistance.

Notes:
- Circuit ground is internally isolated from chassis ground.
- Laser output disabled on TDIS >2.0V or open, enabled on TDIS <0.8V.
- Should be pulled up with 4.7k – 10kohms on host board to a voltage between 2.0V and 3.6V. MOD_DEF(0) pulls line low to indicate module is plugged in.
- LOS is open collector output. Should be pulled up with 4.7k – 10kohms on host board to a voltage between 2.0V and 3.6V. Logic 0 indicates normal operation; logic 1 indicates loss of signal.
