Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Turn off your computer and unplug it from the power source.
- Open your computer case and locate an available PCI-E slot.
- Remove the metal bracket covering the PCI-E slot, if present.
- Align the network adapter with the PCI-E slot and gently insert it. Ensure it is firmly seated.
- Screw in the metal bracket to secure the network adapter in place.
- Close your computer case and reconnect all cables and power source.
Driver Installation:
- Power on your computer and wait for it to boot up.
- Insert the driver installation CD provided with the network adapter into your computer’s CD/DVD drive.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
- Restart your computer to complete the driver installation process.
Connecting to the Network:
- Ensure your computer is powered on and connected to the network switch or router using an Ethernet cable.
- Locate an available RJ-45 port on the network adapter.
- Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into the RJ-45 port on the network adapter.
- Insert the other end of the Ethernet cable into an available port on the network switch or router.

General
Based on Broadcom BCM 5751, this new product applies a PCI-Express x1 interface, compatible with the PCI-Express 1.0a standard. Although it comes with the PCI-Express x1 interface only, this Gigabit server NIC can also be used in PCI-Expressx4, x8 and x16 slots. After switching to the PCI-E interface, due to the lack of PCI bus constraints, the huge bandwidth of the Gigabit Server NIC will be further released, without affecting the communication capabilities of other components on the motherboard. This is a very important advancement for the server field.
