Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture that requires assembly and installation. It comes with a hardware package that includes a mounting strap unit (A), mounting screw (B), wire connector (C), finial (D), quick link (E), chain (F), and assembly kit 6522MM.

The installation steps involve attaching the mounting strap unit to the outlet box, securing the fixture rods with mounting screws, weaving the fixture wires through the chain and canopy, making wire connections using wire connectors, attaching the canopy to the mounting strap unit with a threaded pipe, and putting all wires back into the outlet box.

The product is compatible with 3 x 60W medium base bulbs. The maximum wattage allowed should be checked on the relamping label at the socket area or packaging.

Spare parts are available for re-order if damaged or missing, including the mounting strap unit, mounting screw, wire connector,finial, quick link, assembly kit 6522MM, and chain.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Turn off the power at the fuse or circuit box.
2. Attach the mounting strap unit (A) to the outlet box by securing it with two mounting screws (B).
3. Weave the fixture wires through the chain (F) and canopy. Connect the two chains (F) to the canopy and fixture loops with four quick links (E).
4. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire connections using wire connectors (C) as follows:
   • Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the black wire (hot) from the power source.
   • Connect the ribbed-coated wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire (neutral) from the power source.
   • Attach the fixture ground wire (bare wire) to the mounting strap unit (A) with the green ground screw. Then, depending on local code, connect it to the house ground wire with a wire connector (C).
5. Attach the canopy to the mounting strap unit (A) by aligningand inserting the threaded pipe from the mounting strap unit (A) into the center hole on the canopy, then secure the canopy with the finial (D).
6. Carefully put all of the wires back into the outlet box.
7. Install 3 x 60W medium base bulbs, following the maximum wattage allowed indicated on the relamping label at the socket area or packaging.
8. Turn on the power at the fuse or circuit box.

WARNING

Hardware Package (included)

Installation Steps

Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

1. Attach the mounting strap unit (A) to the outlet box by using two mounting screws (B).
   Note: The depth of threaded pipe on the mounting strap unit may need to be adjusted to properly fit the fixture.

2. Secure the two rods onto the fixture by using the threaded pipes. Determine length of chain (F) needed to achieve desired fixture height. (To remove excess chain section, use pliers to bend link open.) Weave the fixture wires through the chain (F) and canopy.
   Connect the two chains (F) to the canopy and fixture loops with four quick links (E).

3. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire connections using wire connectors (C) as follows:

   • Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the black wire (hot) from the power source.
   • Connect the ribbed-coat wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire (neutral) from the power source.
   • Attach the fixture ground wire (bare wire) to the mounting strap unit (A) with the green ground screw. Then, depending on local code, connect it to the house ground wire with a wire connector (C).
     Carefully put all of the wires back into the outlet box.

4. Attach the canopy to the mounting strap unit (A) by aligning and inserting the threaded pipe from the mounting strap unit (A) into the center hole on the canopy, then secure the canopy with the finial (D).

5. Install 3 x 60W medium base bulbs.
   See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum wattage allowed.
   Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box.
