Pairing devices via Bluetooth

Turn on the BT speaker and search for its Bluetooth name “QBRICK“ on the device you want to pair and start the pairing process. If you are requested to enter a pairing code while your device and the BT speaker are pairing, use the code: “OOOO”.
Note: To ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, keep a dis- tance of up to 10 metres between the BT speaker and the connected device.
Caution: Some connected devices support common volume setting. If some of the connected devices do not support this feature, the volume setting will operate separately on each device.

TWS function

If you purchase an additional Bluetooth speaker (“QBRICK’), you can pair them together for optimal stereo sound. First, make sure your device is not connected to any BT speaker. Switch on both BT speakers and press and hold the M button (No. 6) on one of them. Wait until the speakers automatically pair together (accompanied by an acoustic signal). The white LED indicator will stop flashing on the right audio channel, then connect your mobile device to the BT speaker. When the BT speakers and mobile device are successfully paired, the blue LED indicator on both devices will light up. To cancel the pairing between BT speakers, hold down the M button (No. 6)
Changing the volume level using the volume control buttons will take effect automatically on both paired BT speakers.
Note: If the BT speakers fail to be paired successfully to transfer stereo sound, turn all engaged units off and then on again.

Memory card/USB source

Insert the memory card into the slot with the contacts to- wards the USB-C slot (downwards). If there is no file ta play an the memory card, the BT speaker will switch to another playback mode (e.g. Bluetooth connection). To release the TF memory card, press it gently into the BT speaker with
your fingernail or a blunt instrument and the card will release. Then you can carefully remove it with your fingernails (or with tweezers).
Notice: Due to a number of devices on the market, compatibility and playback support are not guaranteed for all media. The memory devices you want to cannect should be tested in advance and/or formatted as FAT32.

Audio AUX IN

The BT speaker is equipped with a 3.5mm jack. Your device can be connected to the BT speaker via the supplied audio cable. First, connect the audio plug to your device and then to the BT speaker’s jack.
Notice: Before connecting your device to the BT speaker, ensure that the output signal from your device is at its maximum level (minimum output volume). This will prevent the BT speaker from damage. When the audio cable is connected, the BT speaker does not meet the water regression, protection class.
Note: In this mode, not all functions of the BT speaker are available. The Bluetooth function is not active if the audio jack is connected to the BT speaker.

Charging

A charged battery provides power for several hours of ope-ration at normal volume levels. A high volume consumes more battery power; therefore, we recommend listening at normal volume levels. To charge he BT speaker, connect the charging adapter to a power socket and then to the BT speaker. The BT speaker will indicate low battery by acoustic signal. Caution: For charging, use only the original accessories supplied with the appliance. To achieve the maximum battery lifetime, it is best to start charging the battery after the low battery power notification. Charge continuously until fully charged. When the battery opera- ting time becomes very short, the battery lifetime has been used up; we recommend that you have the battery replaced at your authorized centre.
Recommendation: If the unit is not to be used for an ex- tended period of time, we recommend to fully charge the battery once every two to three months. We do not recommend storing the unit with a flat battery to prevent irreparable damage to the battery (loss of capacity).

IPX7 water resistance

The unit is resistant against water thus allowing you to listen to your music in bath, shower, on the beach, or by the pool. IPX7 water resistance guarantees the unit’s function with slight splashing or immersing in water 1m deep for up to 30 minutes. Full immersion is not recommended due to possible signal loss for playback sound transmission.
Notice: Always remember to seal the BT speaker inputs (No. 8-10 in the picture “BT speaker description’) with the original gasket and make sure the gasket is not damaged. Never charge the device during possible contact with liquids. The device is only intended for contact with clean water without any impurities. Avoid exposing the unit to contaminated or industrially treated fluids (such as lemonade, sea/salt water, oils, etc.)..
