Adjusting Wind Direction

To improve the cooling and heating effect, please set the wind direction for the horizontal louver appropriately according to the cooling and heating operation modes. Based on the characteristics of air, cold air accumulates at low places and warm air accumulates at high places.

When running cooling mode:

  • Operate the remote controller to set the horizontal louver that controls wind direction up and down to the mode of blowing horizontally.

When running heating mode:

  • Operate the remote controller to set the horizontal louver that controls wind direction up and down to the mode of blowing downward.

Maintenance

During maintenance, be sure to shut down the running air conditioner and disconnect the circuit breaker. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury and electric shock.

REQUIREMENT

Removing horizontal louver:

  1. Gently bend the gray bearing and remove the central shafts.

Installing horizontal louver:

  1. Please follow the reverse steps of removal.
  2. Firmly insert two slats of the horizontal louver into the right shaft.

WARNING

  • Please entrust the product sales shop or qualified installer to install it.
  • Installation work requires professional knowledge and technology. Installation by users may cause fire, electric shock, injury, and water leakage etc.
  • For your health, do not blow the cold air to your body for a long time or set the temperature too low.
  • If the machine is running abnormally (burning smell, etc.), please stop the operation, disconnect the power circuit breaker, and contact the sales store or professional entities where the product is purchased. Operation under abnormal conditions may lead to fire, electric shock, malfunction, etc.
  • Please do not disassemble, modify, repair or remove the product by yourself. Otherwise, it will result in fire, rupture, electric shock, injury and leakage.
  • Repair and relocation requires technical expertise, so be sure to contact the shop at the time of purchase or a qualified installer.
  • Do not insert hands or put objects (metal, paper, water, etc.) into the air outlet. Otherwise, it will lead to injury and electric shock.

CAUTION

  • Do not hang your clothes on the 3DW Diffusor. Otherwise, the horizontal louver and vertical louver will fall or be damaged, resulting in injury.
  • Do not place animals or plants in places where the air conditioner blows directly. Otherwise there will be adverse effects on plants and animals.
  • Do not use the burner in the place where the air conditioner blows directly. Otherwise, incomplete combustion of the burner may lead to suffocation.
  • Do not wash the air conditioner with water. Otherwise, it may lead to fire, electric shock and malfunction.
  • Do not place combustible sprays etc. near the air conditioner or spray directly towards the air conditioner. Otherwise it will cause fire.
  • Disconnect the circuit breaker before cleaning the front panel and other parts. Place a sign of “in operation” near the circuit breaker during the work. Otherwise it may result in injury or electric shock.
  • Do not stand on an unstable surface during the maintenance work. Otherwise falling from the unstable surface will lead to injury.
  • Do not place other electrical products or property under the 3DW Diffusor. Otherwise, dirt, damage or malfunction may result from dripping water.
  • Do not run with doors and windows open for a long time under high humidity conditions (more than 80%). Otherwise, the condensed water from the 3DW Diffusor will wet the furniture, etc. Moreover, internal parts may also fail due to condensation.

Operation Method

Please refer to the manual of the remote controller for detailed operation method.

Adjusting Wind Direction

  • To improve the cooling and heating effect, please set the wind direction for the horizontal louver appropriately according to the cooling and heating operation modes.
  • Based on the characteristics of air, cold air accumulates at low places and warm air accumulates at high places.

CAUTION

  • When running the cooling system, set the horizontal louver that controls the wind directions up and down to the mode of horizontal air outlet, and set the vertical louver that controls the wind directions left and right to the mode of front air outlet.
  • Cooling in other conditions may result in condensation water dripping from the air outlet and horizontal louver surfaces.

Reminder

  • Heating with the mode of horizontal air outlet may increase room temperature imbalance.
  • Do not directly rotate the horizontal louver and vertical louver by hand, otherwise it may cause equipment failure. Please control the wind direction by the remote controller.

When running the cooling mode

Operate the remote controller to set the horizontal louver that controls wind direction up and down to the mode of blowing horizontally.

When running the heating mode

Operate the remote controller to set the horizontal louver that controls wind direction up and down to the mode of blowing downward.

Maintenance

  • During maintenance, be sure to shut down the running air conditioner and disconnect the circuit breaker. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury and electric shock.
  • Use a soft, clean, dry cloth to wipe the front panel and the surface of the horizontal louver.
  • If the dirt cannot be wiped off, wet a cloth with warm water (below 40 ° C) and wring it out thoroughly before wiping it off.

REQUIREMENT

  • Do not use alcohol, petroleum extract, banana oil, glass cleaner, abrasive powder, etc. Otherwise, the product may be damaged.
  • Do not use a cloth containing chemicals to wipe or contact this product for a long time. Otherwise, it may cause deterioration or surface discoloration.

Removing horizontal louver

  1. Gently bend the gray bearing and remove the central 2 shafts.
  2. Gently bend the horizontal louver and remove the left shaft.
  3. Pull the horizontal louver out of the right shaft.

Installing horizontal louver

  1. Please follow the reverse steps of removal.
  2. Firmly insert two slats of the horizontal louver into the right shaft.

These Are Not Malfunctions

  • A softer “hiss” sound occurs
  • The sound is caused by temperature changes, plastic expansion, etc.
  • Condensation on panel and horizontal louver
  • Condensation may occur if the horizontal louver that control the wind direction up and down are below the horizontal angle and the vertical louver that control the wind direction left and right are operated at a position other than the front for a long time during cooling or heating.
  • In addition, condensation may also occur when cooling mode and dehumidification mode are operated in a high humidity environment.
  • No cooling or no heating
  • If the horizontal louver that control the wind direction up and down are downward and the vertical louver that control the wind direction left and right are tilted for a long time, the cooling or heating performance may be affected.
  • Machine noise
  • When the heating mode is operated under high outdoor temperature, the machine will start the protection control function and make noise.
  • The fan and the louvers of the indoor unit in the stopped state start to operate
  • In order to ensure product performance and functional requirements, the fan and the louvers of the indoor unit in a stopped state in the same system sometimes operate. (Compliance with control requirements, not machine failure)

Installation

WARNING

  • In order to avoid incomplete combustion, do not place the combustion device at the air outlet.
  • Please fit the air outlet at a distance of 1.5 m or more from the fire alarm. Otherwise, in case of a fire, the fire alarm may be delayed or malfunction.
  • Please ensure there are no obstacles around the air outlet.
  • Please install it directly below the air outlet where there are no obstacles such as decorative ceiling or curtain boxes. Otherwise, it may lead to obstacles and 3DW Diffusor condensation or dirt, and may affect the cooling and heating performance.
  • Please make sure both cold and warm air can circulate evenly in the location of installation.
  • Installation under high humidity conditions
  • The product has passed the condensation test and is confirmed to be normal. However, water dripping may occur during continuous operation under high humidity conditions. Especially in the following installation places, it is possible to form high humidity air (dew point temperature above 23 °C).
  1. A place near the window
  2. A place near the entrance and exit door
  3. Kitchen
  4. A place where the 3DW Diffusor is exposed to the outdoor air directly
  • In the above places, please paste heat insulation materials such as sponges on the panel and the horizontal louver of 3DW Diffusor that are exposed to high humidity air.
  • Reference] Test conditions for condensation
  • Indoor: Dry ball temperature 27 °C
  • Wet ball temperature 24 °C
  • Air volume: Low
  • Running time: 4 hours
