Important Note
- Please confirm the USB-C port on your laptop or tablet supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). Some USB-C ports only work for charging or data transfer, no video output function
- USB-C port on desktop PC is not supported
- Self-powered via connected laptop, no external power required
- DP and HDMI port can’t be used simultaneously
- Two USB-C PD ports are always enabled, for charging both laptops simultaneously
- For SK resolution support, Thunderbolt 4 port are required on laptop, with maximum length of 2M DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 cable

3.5mm Audio Jack Setting
No Sound From Laptop With KM470 Connected
When you connect KVM switch to your laptop for the first time, the system may
switch the default sound output to the 3.5mm audio jack on KM470, you can
switch back to computer speaker if you don’t need sound output from the 3.5mm
jack.
How to select default sound output on Windows?
Windows 10: Click “Sound” icon in system tray, then click “Select playback
device”to select default playback device.
Windows 11: Click “Sound” icon in system tray, then click “Manage audio
device” icon next to volume control, then select default playback device.
The 3.5mm audio output will show “USBAudio Device” on Windows.
How to Connect
Before connecting to your laptops, please check the USB-C port on your laptop or tablet supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode). Some USB-C ports only work for charging or data transfer, no video output function.
- Connect front 3x USB downstream ports to your USB peripherals, such as mouse, keyboard, printer and more
- Connect rear 2x USB-C upstream ports (PC! and PC2J to your laptops with USB-C cables (included)
- Connect rear HDMI or DP output port to your display (Please note DP and HDMI port can’t be used simultaneously)
- Connect rear 2x USB-C PD ports (2xPDI00WJ to PD Chargers of your laptops (This step is optional, two PD ports are only used for charging laptops and it’s not required for switching monitor and USB devices)
- To switch between PCl and PC2, press the SELECT button, USB-C upstream ports will be switched (Please note two USB-C PD ports are always enabled, for charging both laptops simultaneously)
