Installing and Charging the Batteries

Loosen the 2 screws on the back cover of the radio using the tab located at the bottom of the belt clip.

Insert the 5 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries into the radio according to the polarity marks in the slots(+ & -).
Note: Be sure that the included batteries are fully charged. Regular alkaline batteries may also be used. Do not attempt to charge alkaline/non- rechargeable batteries. -
Plug the charger into the radio.
Attaching the Belt Clip and Wrist Strap
- Attach the belt clip to the radio.
- Press open the belt clip, slide it over the belt and release the clip.
- Thread the wrist strap through the tab located at the top of the belt clip.
