Thank you for purchasing this Dent Repair Kit from Streetwize. This product is quick and easy to use and intended for use for repairing small and minor dents on vehicles such as cars and vans. It is not suitable for repairing large dents or dents which are deep.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
Important: The optimum working temperature range for this product is 10°C to 26°C.
To use this product, please follow the instructions below:

Insert the Glue Stick (2) into the Glue Gun (1). Then, connect the glue gun to your 230V AC power supply.
Allow the Glue Gun to warm up for 5 minutes before use.
Locate the dent on your vehicle and thoroughly wipe clean with a cloth (not included). Use the Release Agent (3) to remove any stubborn stains, this is essential before any use of this product.
Then using the glue gun, apply glue over the dented area and place the Pull Tab (4) over the dented area.
Allow the glue to dry.
Place the Cross Bar (5) over the Pull Tab, then thread the Wing Nut (6) onto the end of the Pull Tab.
Continue to thread the Wing Nut until the dent is raised and is at normal surface level with the rest of the bodywork panel of the vehicle.
Important: Never push the Pull Tab against the dent
Unthread the Wing Nut and remove the Cross Bar. Then, gently remove the Pull Tab from the surface.
Apply a few drops of the Release Agent onto the area where the glue has dried. Use the Scraper (7) to peel off any residual glue.
If a high spot has been created, use a hammer (not included) and gently tap the Dowel (8) against the raised spot until the surface is level.

Please Note: The Dent Repair Kit will not repair ALL kinds of dents, regardless of size. The Dent Repair

The kit will also not work on bare raw aluminum panels or some painted surfaces.
ONLY FOR USE ON ‘OEM’ PAINT FINISHES. ‘OEM’ IS DEFINED AS VEHICLES WITH ORIGINAL PAINT FROM THE VEHICLE MANUFACTURER.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

The dent does not come out completely:
It may take up to 10 pulls to achieve the desired result and even then it may not be 100% equalized.
The dent has been pulled more than 10 times and there is still a very small dent left:
The dent is too sharp for the ‘Dent Repair Kit’.
Glue stays on the dent pulling tab instead of the car:
This is ok; the glue may stay on the car or the pulling tab

HEALTH & SAFETY

Do not touch the nozzle of the glue gun or the melted glue. The operating temperature of the gluegun is 150°C.
When the glue gun is not in use, always ensure that the glue gun is unplugged.
Keep the product out of reach of children.
Wear eye protection and protective gloves.
Never attempt to repair the product. All repairs should be undertaken by a qualified professional.
