Before starting up, please read this manual carefully in order to ensure the correct and safe installation and usage. Damage caused by not following the instructions of this manual will always invalidates the warranty.
MasterChef would like to emphasize that this instruction manual needs to be readed carefully before usuge and should be stored for later use.

The type plate (the picture is an example) is located on the device. You are requested not to remove it. The type plate can for example be used to determine, when the item was purchased (view PO) and from which production line (view SN) it originates. This information may be essential with regard to warranty. It also contains important information such as the voltage and power supply which determines the ability to connect the device safe.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

As long as the products are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down. This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully. Make sure you prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store this product outside or in open air for a longer period of time than a few hours (not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take measures to protect them from rain or moisture.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT

  1. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device.

  2. This product should be placed in a balanced and well-ventilated spot and its left and right sides should be free from obstacles for more than 20cm. Its backside should be free from the obstacles (like a wall etc.) for more than 20cm.

  3. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another surface that cannot withstand high temperatures. This could cause a fire hazards.

  4. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at any time needed.

  5. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are connected.

  6. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands.

  7. The power pressure of this equipment should conform to the supply voltage of this product.

  8. The user should install a suitable power switch, fuse and leakage protector near to the equipment.

  9. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.

  10. Ensure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not, and whether the safety grounding is reliable or not.

  11. When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.

  12. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model cable and: it is only allowed to let a professional electrician do this.

  13. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the applaince, do not do this by yourself.
    This is forbidden. This must always be done by a professional electrician.

  14. If there are any abnormal phenomena during usage, you must stop the appliance directly.
    After checking you can continue to use it as long as it is safe. Do not repair the appliance by yourself.
    This should always been done by a technical professional

  15. Never use other parts than the ones which are from MasterChef.
    MasterChef is not taking any responsibility for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.

DEGREASE:
Before operating for the first time, clean the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not rinse the appliance under the tap, this could cause serious damage to the appliance.
In addition, make sure that you have dried it properly before you start operating the device.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

  1. Hang the waste liquid container to hanging holes on front panel
  2. Do not fill with engine running. Replace the lid after filling.
  3. The device is suitable for an ambient temperature between 16°C – 32°C.
  4. To maintain the quality of the drinks, leave the dispenser turned on (day and night).

REGULAR USE

  1. Before filling the container, make sure the switch is set to 0 (OFF) or the plug is unplugged.
  2. Do not mix drinks in the appliance but in a separate cup or bowl.
  3. Do not put hot drinks in the container.
  4. Make sure the fluid level is not above the “MAX” level line and is not less than 3-4 liters.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The device has 2 control panels:

  1. On the left the temperature controller.
  2. On the right the ON/OFF switch (red) and the switch(es) for the mix motor (black), each container can be turned on independently.

SETTING THE BEVERAGE TEMPERATURE (FIG.1)

  1. Turn on the main switch.

  2. The light (A) on the digital temperature controller will light up.

  3. The buttons: have a double function, you select the container with them, but you can also adjust the temperature with them.

  4. The temperature of each container can be set separately, it is set with the temperature control on the left. (model 688152: from the front, container 1 is the left and container 2 is the right).

  5. To set the temperature of container 1, press the button twice The indicator light below 1 (B) at the top of the display will now light up and the current set temperature will flash.

  6. Set the desired temperature with the arrow buttons & and then press
    The temperature can be set between 2°C and 8°C. The temperature for container 1 is now set.

  7. Press the button twice and repeat the process to set the temperature of container 2.

  8. When the device is in operation, it will automatically display the actual temperature of each container for 2 seconds (the indicator light (B) indicates which container is involved).

ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE (FIG.1)

  1. To turn off the cooling of a selected container, press the corresponding container number on temperature controller for 3 seconds. “OFF” will be displayed for the selected container.
  2. To turn on the cooling, press or and hold for 3 seconds.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS REGARDING MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the device when not in use.
  2. Remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning. Clean the motor unit and the jug separately.
  3. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or place it in the dishwasher.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For good hygiene and quality of the drinks, clean tanks, lids and the mixing blades/pumps as often as possible.

  1. Step: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the socket.
    Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.

  2. Step: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents when cleaning. The appliance must not be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or with a water hose. Use a damp cloth and then dry it.

Pay attention

  • Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap).
  • This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations;
  • Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device;
  • Always store the appliance inside and keep it dry.

DEMONTAGE EN MONTAGE VAN DE CONTAINER

To disassemble and assemble the containers or to replace the rubber container gaskets:

  1. Remove the plug from the socket.

  2. Remove the lid from the tank.

  3. Remove the mixing blade from its shaft.
    To disassemble the pump, follow the instructions on the diagram (Fig. 2).

  4. Lift the container with both hands with a light, swinging motion.
    If there is difficulty, please wet the cooling column and gasket.

  5. To remove the tap, lift it from its setting.

  6. Only replace the gaskets for tanks and valves with the original gaskets supplied by an authorized supplier.

If the appliance does not work or is damaged, check the following

  1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
  2. Whether the plug and/or the cord is damaged.
    If it is nr. 2 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.

According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be separately collected and treated. If at any time in the future you need to dispose of this product please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE collecting points where available.
