VELOSSA TECH 2022 Plus Honda Civic SI-Sport BIG MOUTH
Product Information
The 2022+ Honda Civic SI/Sport Big Mouth is an aftermarket accessory designed
to enhance the airflow to the vehicle’s engine. It is a kit that includes all
the necessary components for installation, and it is recommended to review the
provided
installation guide before attempting to install the product. Basic hand tools
and approximately 2 hours of installation time are required.

Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, it is recommended to search online for instructions on how to remove the bumper specific to your vehicle’s trim.
- Remove the stock shroud to allow for the installation of the Big Mouth. Keep the pop-up retainer clips that retain the shroud, as one of them will be used later for installing the Big Mouth.
- Undo the indicated bolts and plastic push clip to remove the indicated air intake assembly.
- Loosen (but do not remove) the indicated bolts just enough to allow flexibility in the section of frame.
- Position the Big Mouth so that the round protrusion aligns with the hole in the section of frame.
- Fasten the Big Mouth using the supplied M6 x 40mm cap screw and OEM retainer push clip at the shown locations. Be careful not to overtighten.
- Secure the Big Mouth from the top using the supplied #8 screw and fender washer. Again, avoid overtightening.
- Once the Big Mouth is fastened through all three points, reattach the section of frame and stock air intake components that were removed or loosened during the installation process. The Big Mouth should feel sturdy and free of any interference.
- Review the installation to ensure there are no binding or preload issues with any parts. If necessary, loosen and retighten for adjustment.
- To complete the installation, reassemble the bumper following the same steps used for its removal.
Following these instructions will ensure proper installation of the Big Mouth accessory on your Honda Civic SI/Sport vehicle.

You will need basic hand tools and 2 hours of installation time.
Stock Components Removal
It is best to Google “how to remove bumper” for your particular trim.
Driver Side Hole Location
Remove the stock shroud to allow for installation of the Big Mouth. Hold on to
the pop-up retainer clips that retain the shroud. An OEM retainer clip will be
used later to install the Big Mouth.
Remove Stock Components
Remove the indicated air intake assembly by undoing the indicated bolts and
plastic push clip. 
Remove Stock Components
Loosen (no need to remove) the indicated bolts just enough to allow the
section of frame to flex (left). Position the Big Mouth such that the round
protrusion lines up with the hole in the section of frame (right). 
Big Mouth Installation
Use the supplied M6 x 40mm cap screw and OEM retainer push clip to fasten the
Big Mouth at the shown locations. DO NOT OVERTORQUE.
Big Mouth Installation
Use the supplied #8 screw and fender washer to fasten the Big Mouth from the
top.
DO NOT OVERTORQUE.
Once the Big Mouth has been fastened through all 3 points, re-attach the section of frame and stock air intake components that were removed/loosened prior to install. The Big Mouth should feel sturdy and free of any interference.
Final Assembly Review
Review the install and make sure nothing is binding or causing any preload on any parts, loosen and retighten if adjustment is necessary.
