OVERVIEW
Introduction to functions
| Wi-Fi indicator 1 in 3 indicator lights are lit : Wi-fi is disconnected LEDs

| Color temperature Power on the device. Rotate the “CCT’ thumb wheel to
adjust the color temperature from 2900 to 7000K (increasing in increments of
100k).
| Brightness Power on the device. Turn the “DIM” thumb wheel to adjust the
brightness from 0% to 100% (increasing in increments of 1%).
| Long press (power switch)/ short press (standby: on/off) Long pressthe-power
switch/wake up (standby)” button to turn the lamp on/off. Short press to enter
standby/wake up.

- After turning on the GL1, please ensure that the Bluetooth indicator light is lit by one third.
- Open the APP and click the “+” in the upper right corner to connect to the device.
- Select the “Bluetooth” connection option.
- Select “NEEWER-GL1” to connect and the GL1 Bluetooth indicator will be fully illuminated after successful connection.
- Click on the GL1 device icon to enter the control page. You can now use the app to control the GL1 light.
Computer control
4.1.PC computer control

Tap the “NEEWER” APP on the mobile phone to enter the Gil control panel interface. Tap the “ ” icon, enter the account and password of the WI FL network to be connected to. This will allow you to connect the GL1 to the Wi-Fi network.
The computer and mobile phone must be on the same network as the GL1 lamp to enable wireless control. -
Enter the following URL (https://neewer.com/ pages/down load-product-firmware) into your web browser and do unload and install “NEEWER live”. When you install the newer live program, it is recommended that you manually add it as a trusted program if you encounter an error reported by the computer anti-virus software.
If your Windows 7 computer doesn’t have the . net framework, it will automatically direct you to the .net official website to download it. -
Enter “NEEWER live”, click “Add Device”.

Select “GL1” and click “OK” to add.

After successfully adding the GL1 light, enter the control panel page to use it.
4.2.Apple computer control
- Download and install “NEEWER live” from the “APP store”. Turn on the computer’s Bluetooth.
- Enter “NEEWER live” and select “GL1”, then tap “Add Device” to add it.
- After successfully adding the GL1 light, enter the control panel page to use it.
Installation steps
Loosen/tighten the “stand adjustment knob” and adjust it to the required position.
Align the C-shaped bracket on the corner of the table and turn the ‘stand secure knob” clockwise until it is securely fastened to the table.
- Rotate the “adapter’ screw into the threaded hole of the ‘lamp body”;
- Rotate the “stand” screw into the screw thread of the “adapter”.
Use the adapter to angle it to a suitable position.
Loosen off the “stand adjustment knob” in order to adjust the stand to the
appropriate height and then re-tighten to secure.
Safety Notes
- Please do not stare at the light directly while it is in use to prevent the risk of visual impairment.
- Please do not cover the heat dissipation holes on the item with clothes or other items to prevent the risk of product damage.
- For all Android smartphones, it is necessary to first turn on the “GPS”.
- Please do not touch the product with wet hands as this is very likely to damage the circuit board.
- Please do not dismantle or modify the circuit of the item.
- Please do not use the item in the rain or in damp conditions.
- Please turn off the item when it is not in use.
- Failure to comply with the operation procedures and warnings listed in the manual will void the warranty.
