This product is designed for use in open environments (e.g., in homes and not connected to the public Internet) in which anyone may access and use the printer. As a result, the Wi-Fi Direct setting is in “Automatic” mode by default, without an administrator password, which allows anyone in the wireless range to connect and access all functions and settings of the printer. If higher security levels are desired, HP recommends changing the Wi- Fi Direct Connection Method from “Automatic” to “Manual” and establishing an administrator password.

For regulatory identification purposes, your product is assigned a
Regulatory Model Number. The Regulatory Model Number for your product is

name (HP DeskJet 3700 All-in-One Printer series, HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3700
All-in-One Printer series, etc.) or product numbers (J9V86A, J9V87A, etc.).
HP printer limited warranty statement
A. Extent of the limited
warranty

This HP Limited Warranty applies only to HP branded products sold or leased a) from HP Inc., its subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized resellers, authorized distributors, or country distributors; b) with this HP Limited Warranty.

HP Inc. (HP) warrants to the end-user customer that the HP products specified above will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration specified above (the “Limited Warranty Period”), which Limited Warranty Period begins on the date when the HP Hardware Product is first detected during its initial boot, which date is known as the “first start date.” Alternatively, if the HP Hardware Product is not detected at that time, the Limited Warranty Period shall start on the latter of the date of purchase or lease from HP or from the HP or, if applicable, the HP authorized service provider completes the installation.

For software products, HP’s limited warranty applies only to a failure to execute programming instructions. HP does not warrant that the operation of any product will be interrupted or error-free.

HP’s limited warranty covers only those defects that arise as a result of normal use of the product, and does not cover any other problems, including those that arise as a result of:
a. Improper maintenance or modification;
b. Software, media, parts, or supplies not provided or supported by HP;
c. Operation outside the product’s specifications;
d. Unauthorized modification or misuse. -
For HP printer products, the use of a non-HP cartridge or a refilled cartridge does not affect either the warranty to the customer or any HP support contract with the customer. However, if printer failure or damage is attributable to the use of a non-HP or refilled cartridge or an expired ink cartridge, HP will charge its standard time and materials charges to service the printer for the particular failure or damage.

If HP receives, during the applicable warranty period, notice of a defect in any product which is covered by HP’s warranty, HP shall either repair or replace the product, at HP’s option.

If HP is unable to repair or replace, as applicable, a defective product that is covered by HP’s warranty, HP shall, within a reasonable time after being notified of the defect, refund the purchase price for the product.

HP shall have no obligation to repair, replace, or refund until the customer returns the defective product to HP.

Any replacement product may be either new or like-new products of similar functionality as the product being replaced.

HP products may contain remanufactured parts, components, or materials equivalent to new in performance.

HP’s Limited Warranty Statement is valid in any country where the covered HP product is distributed by HP. Contracts for additional warranty services, such as on-site service, may be available from any authorized HP service facility in countries where the product is distributed by HP or by an authorized importer.
Limitations of warranty
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, NEITHER HP NOR ITS THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS MAKE ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Complimentary Support: 1 year of online chat support and 90 days of phone support (both from the date of purchase). Frequently Asked Questions
Does this come with ink?
The cartridges that come with the printer are standard, full size, cartridges. You can purchase XL cartridges as replacements which will save you about 20 percent per page. There is also the option to subscribe to an Automatic Ink program called instant ink. You pay $3.00 a month and print up to 50 pages. If you print more, HP will charge you an additional $1 for each eset of 15 pages or more that you print. Most importantly, when you run low on ink, HP sends you more ink long before you run out. Best of all, you get fresh ink while only paying $3 a month. At ~$0.06 a page, it's the lowest cost way to print, as long as you print every month. And, if you print photos, an Instant Ink subscription is an absolute bargain saving you 85% on ink.
Does this come with a wire if you don't want to use wireless?
My printer did not come with a wire or with a disc, had to buy a wire. Try as I might I cannot use this printer w/o WiFi. In spite of it,s claim of being able to use it with or w/o WiFi. I live in a remote area and am on metered WiFi, so it cost me to use this printer. Extremely disappointed.
Does it print both sides of paper?
No, it doesn't. You can manually make it by flipping the page and replacing it in the feeder tray.
Can you print on card stock with this printer?
Does this printer work with an Acer Chromebook?
It works with my Microsoft Surface my HP desktop and all of our iPhones, I imagine it works with anything on wifi.
Besides photos, does it print documents for example Word documents?
Yes, it does print Word documents. It does print slowly, but it's a small printer so of course it's not gonna spit it out like the huge printers. But I love this little printer. Good quality prints from this little guy!
Does it work for iPhone?
Yes, I can print emails & web pages from Safari on my iPhone. I just had to pair it via Bluetooth (super fast & easy) and install the hp app first. Took me less than 5 mins to do both, and I'm not all that tech-savvy.
Can you use both wire and wireless at the same time?
I believe you have to use one or the other at any given time. Wireless keeps track of pages if using Instanink. USB would not.
Does the HPjet3755 allow me to print from a Chromebook
Yes, this HP Deskjet 3755 printer works with Chromebooks. We recommend using the HP Smart app to set up the printer.
Dose it turn on and off automatically?
Not exactly. However, if I cut off the electricity (like via a wall switch) and switch the electricity back on, the printer will turn on automatically without me having to press the power button. I usually keep my printer on all the time (24/7) so I can print at any time. It works great that way.
Does it work with Apple AirPrint?
Yes, this printer is compatible with Apple AirPrint. I know this model will work, the 2725 model and the 4155 which is the big DeskJet.
Is this printer compatible with windows and chromebooks?
Yes, this printer is compatible with computers with Windows 7, 8, or 10. In order to use this printer with a Chromebook.
Does it support wpa3?
This HP Deskjet 3755 printer does not support WPA3.
Is it compatible with an HP all in one desk top computer?
Yes. You can print from your smartphone also.
Does this work with Mac 10.11 el capitain?
Yes, this printer will work with macOS 10.11.
