INSTALLING SEAT ONTO SCOOTER

a) Slide the seat post into the tube provided for this purpose.

b) Rotate the seat using the release handle on the right-hand side of the seat. If it is properly installed the seat should lock after 1/8 of a turn.

INSTALLING ARMRESTS

a) Slide armrest into the rear square tube on the seat frame.
b) Place armrest as close as possible to the backrest without touching it.
c) Tighten securely using the knobs and turning clockwise.

INSTALLING ACCESSORY RECEPTACLE

Using a 5 mm Allen key and a 14 mm hex wrench, install the rear accessory receptable on the tube of the seat frame with warning label facing up.

INSTALLING REAR STORAGE COMPARTMENT (OPTIONAL ACCESSORY)

a) Using a 5 mm Allen key remove the two top screws on the backrest supports.

b) Center the storage compartment bracket on the backrest using the oblong holes. Put the original screws back in their location and tighten securely.

c) Align the 3 holes behind the storage compartment so that the tabs from the metal bracket insert into the compartment (not shown). Tighten the screw inside the storage compartment manually clockwise.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORY

INSTALLING REAR-VIEW MIRRORS AND CELL PHONE HOLDER (OPTIONAL)

Rear-view mirrors:

a) The rear-view mirrors are identified with L for left and R for right. Make sure they are installed in the proper location.

b) Attach the clamp around the handlebar.

c) Insert the rear-view mirror rod into the hole on the clamp.

Cell phone holder (optional accessory):

  • Slightly bend the metal ring that connects to the clamp.
  • Place the ring in between the clamp and the rod’s locknut.
  • Install on the right-hand side unless otherwise specified.

Rear-view mirrors (continued):

d) Tighten the mirror by turning clockwise.
e) Once the mirror is in the desired position, tighten locknut using a 14 mm hex wrench.
f) Slide the protective cover back onto the locknut.

INSTALLING THE BLUETOOTH SOUND BAR (OPTIONAL ACCESSORY

Note : The Bluetooth sound bar User’s Guide is also on Amylior’s website under Products / Gs Series Scooters.

a) Along with the sound bar, the package contains 2 thick self-adhesive foam strips, a USB connection cable for charging, a tightening screw, and the User’s Guide sheet.

b) Stick both foam strips on the sound bar mount (1002640) as shown.

c) To install mount, use 2 screws (E00110) and 2 spacers (for Gs200/300 only) 1002716.

d) Remove both original screws from handlebar.

e) To install mount, both spacers (1002716) are only used for Gs200 and Gs300 scooters, but both screws (E00110) are use for all 3 scooters, as shown below.

f) Place sound bar on mount

g) Insert the tightening screw in the mount’s oblong slot, screw into sound bar and tighten in desired position.

INSTALLING THE BASKET AND FRONT STORAGE COMPARTMENT (OPTIONAL)

Basket: Slide the basket down onto the metal bracket located on the front of the tiller until tabs are latched.

Front storage compartment (Optional accessory) :

a) Align the 3 holes behind the storage compartment so that the tabs from the metal bracket insert into the compartment (not shown).

b) Tighten the screw inside the storage compartment manually clockwise

INSTALLING SAFETY BELT (OPTIONAL ACCESSORY

Using a 5 mm Allen key, remove original screw from the seat frame as shown below. Place the belt’s ring onto the screw and securely tighten screw onto the frame.

TIRES

Inflate 4 tires at:

  • → Gs200: 25 PSI
  • → Gs300: 25 PSI
  • → Gs500: 25 PSI

Align headrest posts with the holes on the top of the backrest and push down.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES – Gs200

Accessing the batteries

a) Unscrew both knobs and lift cover.

WARNING:
Be careful not to touch 2 terminals at once with a tool.

a) Unplug both connectors located at the front of the batteries.

b) Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the bolts on both batteries.

c) Unfasten both straps.

d) Remove both batteries.

a) Install new batteries.
NOTE: Battery terminals must be placed toward the inside as shown below.

b) Fasten straps.

c) Connect wire to terminal in the following order:

  1. Bolt
  2. Split lock washer
  3. Washer
  4. Terminal connector
  5. Battery terminal

NOTE: The terminal connectors must be directed toward the inside to ease the installation

NOTE: The negative wire on the left battery, must be routed around the right side of the seat post.

d) Place protection caps over terminals.

e) Close cover and tighten both knobs.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES – Gs300

Unscrew all 4 knobs and lift cover. The top of the batteries is shown.

Disassembling old batteries

WARNING:
While handling batteries, be careful not to touch 2 terminals at once with a tool.

a) Unplug both connectors.

b) Lift protection caps on each of the terminals and using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew bolts in the order shown below. Remove cables and set aside.

c) Unscrew the battery support handle by hand and remove.

d) Unplug the connector located on the right side of the electronic module.

e) To remove the batteries, move the cables aside and lift using the ropes. The compartment is ready for the new batteries.

NOTE: Go through above steps in the reverse order.

a) Place batteries into the compartment with terminals on the outside.

WARNING:
Be careful not to pinch any cables while placing batteries.

b) Plug the connector back in.

c) Install battery support over batteries and tighten handle by hand.

d) Connect wire to terminal in the following order:

  1. Bolt
  2. Split lock washer
  3. Washer
  4. Terminal connector
  5. Battery terminal

e) Cover terminals with protective caps.

f) Connect both batteries.

g) Close compartment cover and tighten knobs

a) Place batteries into caompartment

WARNING:
Be careful not to pinch any cables while placing batteries as shown in adjacent image.

NOTE : Terminals must be placed on the left as shown below.

  1. Bolt
  2. Split lock washer
  3. Washer
  4. Terminal connector
  5. Battery terminal

NOTE: To ease installation, terminal connectors must be directed in the way shown below.

e) Close cover and tighten all 4 knobs.
