Slow-down brakes

Tools:
4 mm Allen key and a 14 mm combination wrench

  1. Install the brake onto Stella’s wheel as shown below (R on the right-hand side and L on the left-hand side).
  2. Attach the plate to the brake.
  3. Secure the plate by tightening screws with a 4 mm Allen key.
  4. Repeat on another side.
  5. Brake pressure adjustment.
  6. Loosen both bolts with the 14 mm combination wrench to allow the knob to turn.
  7. Adjust brake pressure by tightening/loosening the knob.
  8. When the desired pressure is obtained, tighten both bolts.

Cup holder

Tools: None

  1. Snap cup-holder attachment onto the frame on the desired side.AMYLIOR-Stella-Rollator-fig- \(7\)

Cane holder

Tools: 3 mm and 4 mm Allen keys

  1. Slightly loosen the screw on the upper part before snapping it onto the frame so that the angle can be adjusted. Use a 3 mm Allen key.
  2. Slightly loosen the screw on the lower part before snapping it onto the frame so that the angle can be adjusted. Use 4 mm Allen key.
  3. Snap both parts onto the frame as shown below. AMYLIOR-Stella-Rollator-fig- \(10\)
  4. Adjust the angle of each part as needed.
  5. Remove both parts.
  6. Tighten screws.
  7. Reinstall both parts at the same location as in step 3.3.

Footrests

Tools: 4 mm and 6 mm Allen keys

  1. Before installing footrests, verify that the tension of the spring on each footrest is adequate. The footrest activation tension is adjusted by loosening or tightening the screw inside the footrest with a 6 mm Allen key, as shown below. Required tension: The footrest should not be too hard to lift and swing away.
  2. Remove both screws holding the cap in place on each side of the tube with a 4 mm Allen key.
  3. Remove cap.
  4. Insert footrest into fork recess.
  5. Insert screws one after the other, without fully tightening to make sure that the screws are properly aligned.
  6. Tighten both screws with the 4 mm Allen key.

Armrests

Tools: 4 mm Allen key and long-nose pliers.

  1. Install an armrest bracket onto the frame underneath the handle’s height adjustment mechanism.
  2. Tighten both screws with a 4 mm Allen key. Make sure that both screws are tight. There should not be any movement in the armrest bracket.
  3. The armrest activation tension can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the screw, using a 4 mm Allen key and a pair of pliers on the release tab side. AMYLIOR-Stella-Rollator-fig- \(16\)
