Product Information: Butter Spreader

The Butter Spreader is a kitchen tool designed to make it easier to spread butter or other spreads on bread or other food items. It features a roller that is filled with melted butter or other spread and then rolled over the food item to apply an even layer of spread.

Safety Instructions

• Always properly clean and sanitize the butter roller after use and as instructed by state and local laws.
• Do not immerse the butter roller in cold water while it is still hot, as this can cause thermal shock and damage the product and persons.
• Use caution when handling the butter roller, as it will get hot during normal use on a flat-top griddle.

Installation & Operation

1. Remove unit from packaging, being careful not to discard any relevant product literature.

2. Thoroughly clean the unit before first use, refer to CLEANING section.

3. Remove Top Cover.

4. Fill with butter (minimum 0.5 lb, maximum 1.25lb).
   Note: Use pre-melted, liquid shortening or pre-softened butter.

5. Place butter roller in desired location, for best results use on a flat-top griddle.

6. Allow butter to fully melt.

7. Roll bread over roller to apply butter.

8. Refill butter as needed to maintain proper coverage on bread.

Note: When bread no longer becomes fully covered by rolling over roller, it is low on butter and needs refilled.

Cleaning

• Do not spray with hose or pressure washer.
• This item is not dishwasher safe.
• Do not use a scrub pad, steel wool, or any abrasive materials.
• Always follow cleaning instructions of your sanitizer or cleaning solution.
  1. Remove the butter spreader from any heat source, and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Remove any unused butter from the butter spreader.
  3. Remove the lid and roller by simply lifting off.
  4. Soak, wash, rinse and sanitize all parts, including the butter spreader base.
  5. Allow all parts to air dry.

Note: This product conforms to NSF/ANSI STD.2 standards.
