- The minimum clearance between the minibar‘s back and the surrounding structure should be as follows:
No.| Min. distance

Operation
Before first use
Clean the minibar inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons
(see also Cleaning and maintenance).
Saving energy
- Only open the minibar as often and for as long as necessary.
- Avoid unnecessarily low-temperature settings.
- For optimal energy consumption, position the shelves and drawers according to their position on delivery.
- Regularly, make sure the door seal still fits properly.
- Clean dust and dirt from the condenser at regular intervals.
Switching on
WARNING! Suffocation hazard
If children climb into unused minibars and close the door behind them, they
can suffocate inside the appliance. If the minibar will not be used for a
longer period, take the following precautions:
- Remove the door.
- Leave the shelves in place so that chil-dren cannot easily climb inside.
WARNING! Damage hazard
- Ensure that the objects placed in the minibar are suitable for cooling to the selected temperature.
- Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not excessively refrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze and can therefore destroy the glass containers.
- Ensure that the minibar is well ventilated so that any heat created can dissipate. Otherwise, proper functioning cannot be ensured.
NOTE
- The empty minibar needs about 6 …7 h at normal ambient temperature to reach the proper temperature in the interior.
- A few water drops may form inside the minibar if it has been cooling for a lengthy period. This is normal because the moisture in the air condenses to water when the temperature in the minibar falls. The minibar is not defec-tive. If necessary, wipe it out with a dry cloth.
- Place the minibar on a firm base.
- Connect the connection cable to the AC mains supply.
- The minibar performs a self-test. After approx. 10 s the interior light (Fig. 1. 3) illuminates for 2 s and the minibar starts cooling the interior. If the self-test fails, the interior lighting changes to a constant flashing.
Setting the temperature
To avoid food waste, note the following:
- Keep temperature fluctuation as low as possible. Only open the minibar as often and for as long as necessary. Store the foodstuff in such a way that the air can still circulate well.
- The mini bar is equipped with an automatic tem-perature regulation function. Select the average of the possible temperature values.
- Adjust the temperature to the quantity and type of the foodstuff.
- The minibar is equipped with an automatic temperature regulation function. With the optional remote control (Fig. 2) the temperature can be set to 4 different levels using 2 buttons.
- With each press of the remote control buttons, the cooling temperature switches between the possible values. By pressing a button, a red LED illuminates the remote control as soon as a signal has been sent out.
NOTE
The red LED illuminates as soon as a signal has been sent out. Check the
batteries if the LED does not illuminate.
- Remove the plastic insulation from the battery holder before initial use.
- Align the upper side of the remote control to the door opening sensor (Fig. 1. 4). Maintain a dis-tance of approx. 10 cm.
- Press the desired button (Fig. 2):
Button | Description |
---|---|
Yellow ( 3 ) | If the LED of the interior light flashes 3 times, the |
temperature is set to 3 °C.
If the LED of the interior light flashes 7 times, the temperature is set to 7 °C.
Blue ( 4 )| If the LED of the interior light flashes 5 times, the temperature is set to 5 °C.
If the LED of the interior light flashes 12 times, the temperature is set to 12 °C.
Switching off
- If the minibar is to be switched off, unplug the con-nection cable.
- Clean the interior to ensure it is dry enough (see Cleaning and maintenance).
Using the automatic door control (optional)
The automatic door control (optional) indicates via an LED (Fig. 1. 8)
that the door has been opened.
If the LED is lit:
- Open the minibar.
- If necessary, refill the minibar.
- Reset the automatic door control with the remote control (optional).
- Hold the remote control towards the door opening (Fig. 1 4).
- Press the red button once (Fig. 2 1).

- Wipe the minibar dry with a cloth after cleaning.
- Check the condensate drain regularly.
