SAFETY

The juicer should only be operated by trained individuals. Be sure to read the operation and cleaning guides before using them.
CAUTION: KEEP HANDS CLEAR OF JUICING FUNNEL WHEN IN USE TO AVOID INJURY RISK

OPERATION

  1. Position the juicer on a flat, dry countertop.
  2. Press down on the base so that the suction cups hold the juicer to the counter.
  3. Lock the bowl and straining funnel in place.
  4. There are notches on the bottom of each which can be inserted into the base and twisted to lock in place.
  5. Place a container underneath the funnel to receive the juice.
  6. Place halved fruit on the reamer and hold in place until the push block is in contact with the fruit. REMOVE THE HAND BEFORE APPLYING DOWNWARD PRESSURE.
  7. Press the handle down to extract the juice.
  8. Release the handle and the juicer will return to the upright position.

CLEANING

  1. Remove the reamer and strainer bowl from the base.
  2. Wash with mild soap (such as Noble Chemical’s 147SUNBRIGHT) and warm water.
  3. Wipe the juicer with a damp soft cloth and sanitizer (such as Noble Chemical’s 147QUIKSAN).
  4. Allow parts to dry and reassemble.

REPLACING THE SAFETY SPRING

  1. Hold the handle in the upright position. Using an Allen wrench, remove the screw from the knurled nut hat that is connected to the top of the safety spring shaft.
  2. Remove the knurled nut hat, and then remove the safety spring from the shaft.
  3. Place the new safety spring on the shaft.
  4. Reconnect the knurled nut hat to the top of the shaft using the screw and the Allen wrench.

EQUIPMENT LIMITED WARRANTY

Garde XL warrants its equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years. This is the sole and exclusive warranty made by Garde XL  covering your Garde XL brand equipment. A claim under this warranty must be made within 2 years from the date of purchase of the equipment. Only the equipment’s original purchaser may make a claim under this warranty. Garde XL reserves the right to approve or deny the repair or replacement of any part or repair request. The warranty is not transferable. Garde XL Equipment installed in/on a food truck or trailer will be limited to a period of 30 days from the original date of purchase.

Failure to contact the designated location prior to obtaining equipment service may void your warranty.
Garde XL makes no other warranties, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, and HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Equipment sold or used outside the Continental United States
  • Use of unfiltered water (if applicable)
  • Blades. They are expected to wear down and be replaced by users on a consistent basis dependent upon the frequency of usage.
  • Garde XL has the sole discretion on wearable parts not covered under warranty
  • Equipment used for residential or other non-commercial purposes
  • Equipment not purchased directly from an authorized dealer
  • Equipment that has been altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized service agency
  • Equipment where the serial number plate has been removed or altered.
  • Damage or failure due to improper installation, improper utility connection or supply, and issues resulting from improper ventilation or airflow.
  • Defects and damage due to improper maintenance, wear, and tear, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or Act of God.

Any action for breach of this warranty must be commenced within 1 year of the date on which the breach occurred. No modification of this warranty, or waiver of its terms,  shall be effective unless approved in a writing and signed by the parties. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this warranty and the parties’ rights and duties under it. Garde XL shall not under any circumstances be liable for incidental or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits.
