FAQS

Q: What is the fan speed button for?
A: The fan speed button allows you to adjust the airflow of the air conditioner. You can typically choose between different speed settings, such as low, medium, high, or auto.

Q: Which sensor is used in AC remote?

A: Normally a temperature sensor is located in your AC, but with a Follow-Me remote, there is also a built-in thermostat in your AC’s remote control. Once the Follow-Me mode is activated, the air conditioning unit reads the temperature of the area where the remote is located and cools/heats accordingly.

Q:  Which sensor is used in the remote?

A: Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) for the thermal infrared bands.

Q: How do remote buttons work?

A: TV remote controls work in a similar way but using a type of light called infrared (or IR for short). The remote control has an LED light in it which flashes really quickly to emit a message which is then picked up by the TV. The remote is called the transmitter, and the TV is called the receiver.

Q: How do you clean plastic buttons?

A: Most plastic buttons can be cleaned with a damp cloth and warm, soapy water, but if a more thorough clean is required, then apply a small amount of a citrus-based cleaner to a cotton swab or soft cloth and gently wipe across the surface of the button.

Q: Are shell buttons washable?

A: Shell – wash by hand or machine at 30 degrees. If the button is large it is better to wash by hand as the spin can crush the buttons especially if there is a lot of laundry in the drum. Wood – if buttons are unvarnished the recommendation from most manufacturers is not to wash

Q: Are buttons removed for dry cleaning?

A: It’s reasonable to expect your dry cleaner to replace any missing or broken buttons on your business shirts, free of charge. Many full-service dry cleaners have their own onsite sewing and alteration service and will provide complimentary button replacement on shirts, as part of their cleaning service.

Q: Can dry cleaners remove stains?

A: A full-service dry cleaner can remove most stains, provided you act quickly and communicate about the existence of the stain.

Q: Which chemical is used in ink remover?

A: oxalic acid is used to remove ink stains from clothes because it converts most insoluble iron compounds into a soluble complex ion

Q: What should I do if the remote is not working?
A: If the remote is not functioning correctly, try replacing the batteries. If the issue persists, check for any obstructions between the remote and the air conditioner’s receiver. Additionally, ensure that you are within the remote’s operational range.
