GROWATT ARK 2.5L-A1 LV Lithium Battery Module

Product Information:

ARK 2.5L-A1

The ARK 2.5L-A1 is a battery storage system used for storing energy generated from solar panels or other sources. It is designed to be installed in indoor environments with a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and a relative humidity range of 5% to 95%. The system can be installed on the floor with a base or wall-mounted using a parallel cable and base. The installation method can be either standard wall-mounted installation or floor installation with the battery system stacked in two lines.

The system has a compound mode of A+B, A+B+D, A+B+C, and A+B+C+D*2. The weight capacity of the wall should exceed 150kg, and the number of wall-mount installations should not exceed four.

The battery system has a size of 2.5L and comes with a quick installation manual. The system has a power button, an LED, a USB interface, and a safety vent. The wiring connection diagram has nine connection end faces that include CAN communication, LINK-IN CAN communication, safety vent, negative terminal, GND terminal, positive terminal, USB interface, LED, and power button.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation Process

  1. Check the packing list and accessories before starting the installation process.
  2. Determine the installation location requirements based on whether you want to install it on the floor with a base or wall-mounted using a parallel cable and base.
  3. Follow the installation procedure provided in the quick installation manual for either floor installation or wall-mounted installation.
  4. Avoid drilling holes in the water pipes and cables buried in the wall during the installation process.
  5. Build sun and rain shade to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and rain.

Terminal Connection

  1. Connect the switch to PCS to ARK 2.5L-A1 using a molded case circuit breaker with a rated working voltage greater than 80V and rated working current greater than 125A.
  2. Connect the communication terminal as per the wiring connection diagram provided in the quick installation manual.

Key Operation
The ARK 2.5L-A1 system has a power button that can be used to turn on or off the battery system. Follow the below instructions to operate the system:

Floor installation with base

  1. If more than 4 batteries are used, base mounting is recommended.
  2. For floor installation with base, the maximum stack number of the battery is ten. But if the battery number is greater than six, we recommend stacking two stacks.

Note:
The safety part needs to be installed at the top battery, however, once the number of the battery pack is higher than 7, one more safety part should be installed in the middle battery which is shown the last step.
Avoid drilling holes in the water pipes and cables buried in the wall.

Note: The number of wall-mount installations should not exceed four.Please make sure that the weight capacity of wall should exceed 150kg.

  1. Adjust the screw to ensure the battery in horizontal position

Note: When multiple battery modules are used in parallel connection, you only need to press one key of any module to start the system,and also press one key to shut down the battery system. ALM/RUN light turns green when powered on
