PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS:

Pairing Earbuds to the Bluetooth Radio Adapter (BTD). Attach the Bluetooth Adapter to the radio. With the radio off, hold down the PTT button on the radio adapter making sure not to completely cover the LED. While holding down, turn on the radio at the same time until LED is flashing Blue/Red then release. Power up your Bluetooth earbuds and put them into a pairing state. When the radio adapter LED is solid Blue, pairing is complete. Power down the radio & earbuds.
Bluetooth Remote Switch is already paired. If pairing is lost. follow these instructions. -
Pairing BTR Bluetooth Remote Switch to Bluetooth Radio Adapter (BTD). With the radio off, hold down the PTT button on the radio adapter making sure not to completely cover the LED. While holding down, turn on the radio at the same time until LED is flashing Blue/Red then release. Short press again then release. The LED will flash slowly Blue/Red. Now the radio adapter is in a pairing state. Next, press & hold the PTT button on the remote switch until LED is flashing Blue/Red, then release. When the LED on the radio adapter turns Blue, pairing is complete. Now power up the earbuds. Wait about 15 seconds for everything to link up. Now you are ready to transmit.
OPERATING METHOD:
- Next time you use the Air Pro Wireless, power up the radio & earbuds. Earbuds will automatically link to the adapter. Press & hold the BM PTT Button until LED appears, then release. The BTR will now link in about 10 seconds.
- To power down BTR, turn off the radio. Wait about 15 sec. Press & hold the PTT button until LED turns Red. Option 2: If the radio is turned off, the BTR will automatically power down in 10 min.
- If no LED appears on the BTR when trying to pair, connect the USB cable to charge for about 10 minutes, then try again. For all-day use, BTR should charge for about 3.5 hours.
- Earbuds can be activated from the pairing button on the BTD radio adapter as well.
- When the Bluetooth slide switch is in the “Off” position, no Bluetooth device can be used. This is effective if you want to use the radio with no microphone attached (see backside for instructions). In this state, you can transmit and receive through the radio.
- Leave the Bluetooth switch in the “On” position to use the Wireless PTT unit.
- To pair additional earbuds, follow Step 1.
Note: Not compatible with Motorola Radios using Built-In Bluetooth.
Note: When the Bluetooth slide switch is in the off position no Bluetooth
device can be used. This is effective if you want to use the radio with no
microphone attached. In this state, you can transmit and receive through the
radio. Leave the Bluetooth switch on to use the Wireless PTT unit.

Your Sales Receipt is required to validate & obtain warranty services. Your EPC product is warranted against internal defects in material or workmanship. All of our earphones are warranted for 12 months. Hygiene restrictions prevent us from extending our limited warranty to wearable parts such as Fin Ultra” ear tips, earmolds, clear tubes & ear inserts. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and does not cover the following:
- Physical abuse
- Improper maintenance of the unit
- Damage from tugging or pulling
- Frayed, torn, or exposed wires
- Crushing or smashing in any way, shape, or form
General misuse of the item such as Excessive voltage, tampering with the unit, or repairs attempted by someone other than the manufacturer will void the MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY. The manufacturer reserves the right to evaluate & refuse a warranty based on their evaluation. In order to obtain warranty services, proof of purchase must be returned along with the product. Earphone Connection, Inc. products are designed to produce a specific audio
output level at maximum rated power. Modifying these devices in any way
including adding or removing components and accessories may change the audio
output of the device and could result in PERMANENT HEARING DAMAGE.
Many countries have regulations defining the amount of noise that an
individual can be subjected to during a normal workday. Compliance is
application-dependent and standards vary. It is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the
end user to determine applicability and compliance with local hearing
protection regulations.
Earphone Connection, Inc. strongly recommends that the radio is off before
installation of the audio accessory. Once the audio accessory is securely
installed radio can be turned on. The radio volume switch is recommended to be
set at a low position and adjusted once the radio is turned on.
TO CONNECT WIRED HEADSETS:
- Make sure the Bluetooth microphones are off.
- Hold the microphone cable above the arrow alignment mark.
- Align with an arrow on the adapter then click into place.
- To remove, pull up the spring-loaded cylindrical metal below the arrow on the cable.
