  • Attachments – Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.

Before First Use

Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

  • Remove all the packing materials.
  • Remove and review all components before use.
  • Check the product for transport damages.

Operation

7.1 Connecting to a power supply

  • The product is powered by the power adapter (27).
  • The product contains a coin battery as a backup power source to keep the clock and the alarm setting during a power interruption. The battery cannot power the display.
  • Always keep a coin battery in the battery compartment (10). When the charging cable (26) is disconnected from the product and the battery is exhausted or removed from the product, the current time and alarm setting will be erased.
  1. Connect the USB-C connector of the charging cable (26) to the Type-C port (15) (Fig. 2).
  2. Connect the USB-A connector of the charging cable (26) to the power adapter (27), then to a suitable wall outlet (Fig. 2).amazon basics BOB5DF7HKV Projection Alarm Clock - Remove 1
  3. The display lights up when the product is powered.

7.2 Changing battery

NOTICE

  • A coin battery is used as a backup for storing the clock and alarm setting during a power interruption.
  • When changing the coin battery, do not disconnect the charging cable (26) from the product and the wall outlet. Otherwise the current time and alarm setting will be erased.
  • Always insert the coin battery correctly with regard to polarity (+ and —) marked on the coin battery and the product.
  • It is recommended to change the coin battery every 6 months.

  2.  Pry the ald coin battery out.

7.3 Adjusting the display backlight
Turn the x dial (8) to adjust the brightness of the display backlight.
7.4 Adjusting the projection
NOTICE |The clock time can be projected onto a flat and level surface, such as a wall or ceiling within a distance between 5 ft. and 10 ft. (1.5 m and 3 m), preferably in a dark room.

  1. Press the button (19) to switch the projection on.

  3. Press again to flip to an upside down projection when the projector arm (7) is swiveled to the back.
  4. Rotate the focus adjustment ring (5) to adjust the sharpness of the projection.
  5. Turn the c& dial (18) to adjust the brightness of the protection.
  6. To switch the projection off, press the ¢34′ button (19).

7.5 Daylight saving time (DST) mode

  • To activate the DST mode, press the DST button (20).
    The clock time changes from standard time to DST. The display shows DST.

  •  To deactivate the DST mode, press the DST button (20). DST disappears from the display. The clock time changes from DST to standard time.

7.6 Hour system
Press the 12/24 button (21) to toggle between 12-hour and  24-hour format

NOTICE

  • Each step should be performed within 6 seconds. When no button is pressed within 6 seconds, the product exits the setting mode automatically.
  • When setting hour and minute time, press and hold the T- button (23) or T+ button (24) for a speedy adjustment.
  1. Press and hold the MEM button (22) until the hour digits start to flash. The product enters time setting mode.
  2.  Use the T- button (23) and T+ buttan (24) to adjust the hour time.
  3. Press the MEM button (22) to confirm the hour time. The minute digits start to flash.
  4. Use the T- button (23) and T+ button (24) to adjust the minute time.
  5. Press the MEM button (22) to confirm the minute time. 

7.8 Setting alarm time
NOTICE

  • Set the clock time properly before setting the alarm time.
  •  The product allows to set 2 different alarms. Perform the same steps below to set the first and second alarm.
  • When setting hour and minute time, press and hold the T- button (23) or T+ button (24) for a speedy adjustment.
  1. Press and hold the button (2) or button (4) until the hour digits start to flash. The product enters alarm setting mode.

  2. Use the T- button (23) and T+ button (24) to adjust the hour time.

  3.  Press the button (2) or button (4) to confirm the hour time. The minute digits start to flash.

  4. Use the T- button (23) and T+ button (24) to adjust the minute time.

  5. Press the   button (2) or   button (4) to confirm the minute time.

  6. Press the T+ button (24) to select between BUZZ and RADIO for the alarm signal type.
    NOTICE | when the alarm time is reached:
    » BUZZ: The product starts to ring.
    » RADIO: The radio station last listened starts to play.

  7. Press the   button (2) or   button (4) to confirm the alarm signal type.
    NOTICE | if BUZZ is chosen, use the T- button (23) and T+ button (24) to set the volume of the alarm signal (bt: High; be : Natural (default setting); b3 : Low).

  8. Press the   button (2) or button (4} to complete the alarm time setting. The steady display shows the corresponding icon(s) {21 and/or (92 2.

7.8.1 Activating/deactivating the alarm

  • To activate the set alarm, press (7 button (2) or £2 button (4) in display mode. The display shows the corresponding icon(s) {91 and/or 22.
  • To deactivate the set alarm, press fi? button (2) or  2 button (4) in display mode. The corresponding icon(s) $941 and/or {2 disappear(s) from the display.

7.8.2 Switching off the alarm signal

Press any button other than the button (3) to tun the alarm signal off. The alarm signal lasts for 30 minutes if no button is pressed.
NOTICE |The alarm signal will sound again at the set alarm time on the next day. Deactivate the alarm when needed.

7.8.3 Snooze function

  1. When the alarm signal sounds, press   button (3) to activate the snooze function.
  2. Use the T- button (23) and T+ button (24) to set the snooze time between 2 and 60 minutes. The default snooze time is 9 minutes.
  3. Press zZ” button (3) to confirm the snooze time. The alarm signal sounds again when the snooze time has passed. NOTICE |The snooze function can be activated 5 consecutive times. After that, the alarm will be deactivated.

7.9 FM radio
NOTICE

  • To listen to the radio from an external device, connect the 3.5 mm plug of the device to the audio-out socket (14).
  •  When no button is pressed in 10 seconds in radio mode, the product returns to display mode and the display shows the current time.
  1. Set the /FM switch (25) to FM position.

  2. Unwind the antenna (12) from the antenna holder (13).

  3. Hang the antenna (12) to a high place.

  4.  To search a FM radio station, press the T- button (23) or T+ button (24) to decrease/increase the searching frequency.
    NOTICE | Press and hold the T- button (23) or T+ button (24) to search a radio station automatically.

  5. Turn the volume dial (11) to adjust the radio volume.

  6. To turn the radio off, set the (   /FM switch (25) to position. 

7.9.1 Storing the radio station

NOTICE |The product can store up to 15 radio stations.

  1. When a radio station is found, press and hold the MEM button (22) to open the radio station list.
  2.  Press the T- button (23) or T+ button (24) to assign a desired number for the station.
  3.  Press the MEM button (22) to confirm.

NOTICE | Press MEM button (22) repeatedly to select the saved radio station. The display shows the station number between P{ and P1S and the FM frequency of the Stored radio station.
7.9.2 Setting a sleep timer
Set a sleep timer to switch the radio off automatically.

  1. Set the   /FM switch (25) to FM position.
  2. Press the   button (1) once to enter the setting.
  3.  Press the button (1) repeatedly to select the desired time between OFF, 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.
  4. Wait for 3 seconds and the selected option is saved. The display shows SLEEP.

7.10 Charging function

To charge an external device, connect a USB cable (not included) to the device and to the USB charging port (17).
7.11 Factory reset
To perform a factory reset, press the RESET button (16) using & paper clip or needle (not included).

Cleaning and Storage

1 During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
8.1 Cleaning

  • To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Wipe the product dry after cleaning.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

8.2 Storage

  • Disconnect the charging cable (26) and remove the battery if the product is not intended to use for an extended period of time.
  • Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from children and pets.
