IOTA IIS Single Phase Central Inverter

Product Information: IOTA IIS Inverter Factory Startup Program

The IOTA IIS Inverter Factory Startup program is designed to ensure expert installation of the IIS Inverter. A qualified IIS Technician will oversee the startup and initial testing of the IIS Inverter to ensure it performs according to factory specifications. The program includes a system integrity check, installation check, pre-load system check, site load check, site system check, training, demonstration, and extended warranty coverage.

Factory Startup Includes

  • System Integrity Check: The IIS Technician will inspect the IIS Inverter to ensure it arrived at the job-site unharmed.
  • Installation Check: The IIS Technician will verify that the installation meets all applicable performance and safety codes including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and UL.
  • Pre-Load System Check: A pre-load test will be conducted to verify performance of all systems parameters under no-load or dummy load conditions. Note: dummy load tests must be pre-arranged with the factory.
  • Site Load Check: Critical load equipment is energized through the maintenance bypass (if available), and the full operating current is checked and verified to not exceed ratings of the IIS Inverter.
  • Site System Check: Critical load will be connected to the inverter and checked to ensure operation as specified under all operating and power failure conditions. Final calibrations to the system are made.
  • Training and Demonstration: The IIS Technician will demonstrate the operation and maintenance instructions to site personnel and answer any questions related to effective use and care of the IIS Inverter.
  • Extended Warranty: Participating in IOTA’s IIS Factory Startup Program provides an additional year of Warranty coverage on all electronic components, provided Factory Startup occurs within 180 days of ship date.

A start-up service request can be initiated for inverters that have been purchased with Factory Start Up by scanning the QR code. The IIS Factory Startup is only available on select IIS Inverter models: IIS (1.5kVA to 16.7kVA), 1100, IIS3P, and IISC.
