The Generac GP7500E Dual Fuel Portable Generator is ideal for use at outdoor events, DIY projects or as emergency backup power. This generator can run on gasoline or liquid propane, providing power and versatility when and where you need it. The Fold-Down Locking Handle makes it easy to maneuver and store, while the Hardened Steel Tube Cradle adds durability and strength. The  Large- Capacity Steel Fuel Tank with incorporated fuel gauge provides up to 10 hours of run-time at 50% load on gasoline and 5 hours of run-time at 50% load on liquid propane using a 20 lb tank. The PowerRushTM Advanced Technology delivers up to 30% more starting capacity, allowing you to do more with less. The Heavy Duty, Never-Flat Wheels allow for easy portability.

Generator Sizing Guide

Sizing a portable generator is easy. Follow these steps:

  1. Choose which devices you want to power at the same time.
  2. Record and add the running watts listed for each device that you need to power.
  3. Record the starting watts listed for each device.
  4. Select the one device with the highest starting watts. Add that number to the total running watts to determine the total wattage requirement.

Product Usage

Before using the Generac GP7500E Dual Fuel Portable Generator, ensure you have read and understood the user manual thoroughly. Follow these steps to use the generator:

  1. Fill the fuel tank with gasoline or liquid propane, depending on your preference.
  2. Turn the dial to select your fuel source.
  3. Turn the Off/Run/Start Switch to the “On” position.
  4. Press the Electric Start button to start the generator. If the battery is dead or not charged, use the Pull Start to start the generator.
  5. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes before connecting any devices to it.
  6. Follow the sizing guide to determine which devices you can connect to the generator.
  7. Connect your devices to the appropriate outlets on the Control Panel.
  8. Turn off all connected devices before shutting down the generator.
  9. Turn the Off/Run/Start Switch to the “Off” position.
