Smart Living App for Smart Plug

Product Information

The Smart Plug is a device that allows you to control your electrical appliances remotely using the Smart Life app. It is part of the Smart Life Smart Living ecosystem which includes power strips, timers, sockets, and scenes. The Smart Plug is FCC and IC compliant and meets the exemption from the routine evaluation limits in section 2.5 of RSS-102.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the Smart Plug, you need to download the Smart Life app on your smartphone and create an account. Once you have logged in, follow these steps:

  1. Plug in the Smart Plug into a power outlet.
  2. Press and hold the button on the Smart Plug until the LED indicator flashes rapidly.
  3. Open the Smart Life app and click on “Add Devices”.
  4. Select “Electrical Outlet” and then “Confirm Indicator Rapidly Blink”.
  5. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password and click on “Confirm”.
  6. Wait for the Smart Plug to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  7. Once connected, you can control your electrical appliances using the Smart Life app.

Note that the Smart Plug should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and any part of your body. Any changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

FCC Radiation Exposure Statement

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body.

This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
