Product Information
The product is a lighting fixture with the model number CA2206-H. It comes with a decorative nut, machine screws, and a glass bulb (which is not included). The fixture has several wires including a live wire, black wire, negative wire, and white wire. It also has a ground wire for safety purposes.
Product Usage Instructions
Before installing or servicing the fixture, make sure to shut off the power to avoid any risk of electrical shock. Follow the steps below for installation:
- Remove the old fixture and disconnect any wires.
- Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the outlet box.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (negative) wire from the outlet box.
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the live wire from the outlet box.
- Secure the fixture in place using the machine screws and decorative nut.
- Install a glass bulb (not included) into the fixture.
- Turn on the power and test the fixture to ensure it is working properly.

NOTES

- Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box by using two mounting screws.
- Pull out the wires and grounding wire from the outlet box. Make wire connections using the wire nuts, as follow:
- Connect the hot wire usually black insulation)from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.
- Connect the neutral wire (usually white insulation) from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.
- Attach the fixture grounding wire (usually green insulation or bare wire) to the mounting strap with the green grounding screw. Then connect it to the house grounding wire with the wire nut.
- Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.
- Attach the back plate to the mounting plate by inserting the screws, then secure it with two nuts.
CAUTION: With silicone caulking compound, caulk completely around where the back plate meets with the wall surface to prevent water from seeping into the outlet box. Turn on the power at the fuse or circuit box.
