  1. a. Preparing and cutting panel down for straight applications:
    a. Measure your gate opening and subtract 1 5⁄8″ from that length.
    b. Take that length and lay your tape measure on the panel. Center your tape measure to where the pickets are even on both sides (Fig. 1). Draw
a line on both sides of each rail.
    c. Cut along drawn lines. 1.b. Preparing and cutting panel down for racked applications:
    a. Lay panel on a clean working surface and rack to desired angle (Fig. 2). (Max of 10 degrees or 12 3⁄4″ high). b. Lay gate uprights (A) on a fence panel parallel to pickets (Fig. 3). c. Measure gate opening; subtract 1 5⁄8″.
    d. Space gate uprights to measured length; adjust to where pickets are spaced evenly. e. Mark each rail where the upright lies (Fig. 4).

Installing Gate Uprights

  1. a. Install the now cut panel in one of the gate uprights.
    b. Rack the panel at the desired angle and push the panel to the back of the upright (A) to where there is no gaps (Fig. 5). c. Using two clamps, clamp the gate and upright together from the back of the first picket to the back of the upright (Fig. 6). This will help in preventing the panel from moving in the following steps.

  2. Take the two Rail Grippers (F1) in your Hardware Bag and install them on both sides of the rail inside of the upright brackets (Fig 7).

  3. Using a 1⁄4″ drill bit, drill a hole all the way through rail using the two pre-drilled holes on the rail grippers. If your gate width has a picket between the slots (Fig. 8) drill thought the picket as well.

  4. Using 2x M6 Bolts (F3), 2x M6 Acorn Nuts (F2), install hardware as shown (Fig. 9).

  5. If there is no picket inside of the bracket area, place one U-Channel Block (F6) around the first bolt. This will prevent the bracket from deforming when tightening the bolts down (Fig. 10).

  6. Tighten bolts down.

  7. Using 3x #10×1″ Screws, install one (F4) per rail 5⁄8 ” from the back of the gate upright and aligned with the rail (Figs. 11&12).

  8. Remove clamps from gate.

  9. Repeat steps 2-9 to install the second gate upright.
