READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, explosion, electric shock, or serious injury while using your Forge Heated Ice Press, follow these basic safety precautions:
- Do not, under any circumstances, alter or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. For personal safety, this product must be properly grounded.
- Do not exceed power outlet ratings. It is recommended that the ice press is connected to it sown circuit. Use only a 120VAC, 60 Hz standard electrical supply that is properly grounded in accordance with the National Electric Code and local codes and ordinances.
- To ensure continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only.
- Do not allow children to use, climb on, stand on, or hang on the ice press. They could seriously injure themselves.
- This product must be properly installed and located in accordance with the installation instructions before it is used. Product is for indoor household use only. Do not use outdoors.
- Do not store or use flammable vapors or liquids near this product.
- Do not use an extension cord.
- Do not use with ice that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
- Place power cord in such away it cannot be pulled on by children or cause a tripping hazard.
- Place power cord in such away that it is not in contact with hot surfaces.
- Do not operate if any component, including the cord or plug, is damaged.
- Unplug the product before cleaning by hand and when not in use.
- Do not immerse any part of the product in water.
- Do not plug or unplug product with wet hands.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, modify, or replace any part of your product. See page 25 for Warranty information.
- Use this product only for its intended purpose as described in this user manual.
- Do not use any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer
- Do not remove any safety, warning, or product information labels from your ice press.
- Servicing shall be performed by factory authorized service personnel and component parts shall be replaced with manufacturer authorized replacement components.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. U se handle when operating ice press.
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse the cord or plug of the Forge H elated Ice Press in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- To disconnect, press the power button to turn the press OFF, then remove the electrical plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for anything other than intended use.

GETTING STARTED WITH THE FORGE HEATED ICE PRESS
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of fire, explosion, electric shock, or injury when using
Forge, follow these basic safety precautions.
- Ice press requires a dedicated power source capable of providing 15A at 120VAC.
- Product is designed to be installed indoors. Do not use your ice press outdoors.
- Product must be installed upright on a flat, level Surface that is able to support the total weight when drip tray is full of water.
- Ensure a minimum of three inches (3”) clearance around the ice press.
- Install the product in an environment with an ambient temperature between 65°F and 85°F.
- Do not place the product near heat sources such as ovens or cooktops.
- Do not place the product in direct sunlight.
- Do not place directly under intense countertop lighting.
PREPARING FORGE HEATED ICE PRESS FOR OPERATION
- Carefully remove packing material. Do not use sharp tools that can damage or scratch the ice press.
- Ensure all components are present. If any item is missing, please visit monogram.com/ownership/parts/.
- Clean the ice press before use (see C are and Cleaning section on page 15).
- Place the ice press upright on a flat, level surface and plug it into a dedicated power source capable of providing 15A at 120VAC.
CARE AND CLEANING
EXTERIOR CLEANING
WARNING
Unplug the ice press before cleaning by hand and when not in use.
To clean the exterior of the Forge Heated Ice Press, unplug the unit, then use
a soft cloth dampened with soapy water to gently clean the exterior surfaces.
Do NOT submerge the unit in water. Wipe with a damp cloth if needed. Dry with
a soft, lint-free cloth.
To prevent scale from accumulating on the exterior of your ice press, wipe the
exterior dry after each use.
OPERATING THE FORGE HEATED ICE PRESS
MAKING AN ICE SPHERE
CAUTION
Exterior metal surfaces may be hot. Use handle when operating ice press.
Follow the steps below to make ice spheres.

Plug the ice press into a grounded outlet capable of providing 15A at 120VAC.

Allow ice spheres that have been stored in a freezer to sit at room temperature for five minutes prior to adding liquid, or else they may crack.

Turn the ice press on using the button on the lower back of the press. See Fig. 1.

Lift the upper half of the press and, using the tongs, center an ice gem between the two halves. See Fig. 2.

Place the upper half of the ice press on top of the ice. See Fig. 3. You do not have to press down on the handle while ice is being melted.

Melt times will vary depending on the size of the ice gem used. It is recommended not to exceed an ice gem size of 3.25” wide by 4” tall so that it can easily fit inside the press.

Immediately after the upper and lower halves of Forge meet, lift the top half of the press and use the tongs to remove the ice sohere. Ice soheres may be served immediately or stored in a freezer for later use.
DRAINING THE FORGE HEATED ICE PRESS
T he Forge H eated Ice Press drip tray should be drained completely after
each session of use. T o drain the ice press:
- Turn off the ice press and let cool.
- Lift the entire ice press away from the black drip tray.
- Empty the water from the drip tray into asink or drain.
- Reinstall the ice press onto the drip tray.
NORMAL SOUNDS
Y our new ice press may make small clicking noises during operation. T his
sound is created as the internal heaters cycle on and off. Hard surfaces like
the floor, walls, and countertops can amplify these sounds.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Possible solutions are subject to change.
Why do see blemishes on completed ice so heres?| • You may not have filled
your ice mold completely. If a recurring flat spot appears on the top or
bottom of your ice spheres, make sure you are filling your ice mold cups to
the indicated fit line to ensure you are using the correct ice gem size for
your melts.
• You may have left the ice in the press too long. Use the tongs to remove the
ice so here from the Forge Heated Ice Press immediately after the upper half
of the press meets the bottom. Leaving the ice sphere in the heated press too
long can cause the sphere to become misshaped.
• You may not have centered your ice prior to pressing. To ensure a perfect
ice shape, make sure each ice gem is centered on the so here mold before you
begin melting with the press.

Why do I we water on my countertop?| • The Forge’s drip tray may be full.
Empty the drip tray.
Why do I hear a “crackling” or “popping” sound when pressing ice?| • Applying
the heated press immediately to an Ice gem that has been stored in a regular
or deep freezer may cause the ice to crack. Place any ice in a bowl at room
temperature for five minutes before using in the heated press.
Why do I feel resistance when pressing an ice sphere?| • The Forge connector
rods may be dirty. Ensure that the rods connected to the top half of the press
are clean. Wash rods with a mild soapy water and soft cloth, and then wipe
clean. Do not submerge the press in water.
Why do I we white or black spots on my press?| • The Forge may have scale on
its surface from water. Wet a soft cloth with vinegar: and lightly dampen the
surface. Let sit for a few minutes, then wipe off gently with clean water. Do
not submerge the press in water.
How long does it take to press a sphere?| • Melt times will vary depending on
the size of the ice gem used. It is
recommended not to exceed an ice gem size of 3.25″ wide by 4″ tall so that is
can easily fit inside the press.
Why is it taking so long to make a so here?| • The Forge may be turned off.
Ensure the ice press is both plugged in and turned on by pressing the button
on the lower back of the press.
• There may be a tripped breaker. Ensure the Forge has not tripped the
breaker.
• There may be too many products plugged into the outlet. Ensure the outlet is
not overloaded.
• The GFCI may be tripped. Ensure the GFCI is not tripped. Be sure to check
the GFCI on both Forge’s cord and
the outlet. If the cord FCI repeatedly trips, discontinue use and contact
manufacturer.
No water is coming out of the drain holes.| • There may be a particle
obstructing the drain holes on the upper or lower parts of the press. Use a
soft, cylindrical nylon brush to clean the drain holes

Two Years From the date of the
original purchase| If the Forge Ice Press fails due to a defect in materials
or workmanship, during the limited two-year warranty, Monogram will either
repair the product, replace it with a new or manufactured product, or refund
the purchase price of the product at Monogram’s sole discretion.
EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Your sole and exclusive remedies are product exchange or refund as provided in
this Limited Warranty. Any implied warranties, including the implied
warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited
to two years or the shortest period allowed by law.
For US Customers: T his limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser
for products purchased for home use within the USA. In Alaska and Hawaii, the
limited warranty does not include the costs of shipping units.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. To know
what your legal rights are, consult your local or state consumer affairs
office or your state’s Attorney General.
