– Re-calibrate the torque wrench at a qualified calibration ab every 12 months
or 5,000 cycles (whichever comes first) beginning with your first operation of
the torque wrench
Usage
Usage Instructions
- Pull down the Positive Locking Ring and turn the handle until the torque scale reads the desired torque settings. For example, 50 ft-lbs should read as follows.
- Release the Positive Locking Ring to secure the torque setting3. Attach an appropriate socket to the torque wrench’s square drive.
- Select the desired ratcheting direction on the Ratchet Head.
- Tighten the bolt you wish to fasten first by hand or with a wrench until t is snug.
- Apply the torque wrench on the bolt and turn with a slow and smooth force until a click s heard and felt
- Release the torque wrench to reset for next use.

capacity with a test bolt to familiarize yourself with the operation of the

Certificate of Conformance
Each of our torque tool has been tested for ts quality and accuracy in
accordance with SO 6789-1:2017. A Certificate of Conformance is included and a
unique serial number traceable back to our laboratory is assigned to each
torque tool.
It s recommended to perform ISO 6789-1:2017 quality conformance tests every
12 months or 5,000 cycles (whichever comes f rst) beginning with your first
operation of the torque tool.
Troubleshooting
Q: Why is the click less audible at a ow torque settings?
A: t s normal for the torque wrench click to be ess audible at a ow torque
setting. We recommend that you apply force more slowly at torque settings
below 30%. For every click type torque wrench, torque settings between 30% to
90% provide the optimal user experience. If you find yourself using torque
setting below 30% often, we recommend that you purchase a model with your
frequently used torque settings n ts optimal use torque range for the best
experience.
