LEAK DEFENCE Flow Triggered Alarm

How to Clear a “Flow” Triggered Alarm

with The Leak Defense System

via On-Site Control Panel

Instructions valid for Control Panel version 7.xx

Step 1: Clear or Silence the Alarm
To disable the siren, press ‘Silence’ or ‘Clear Alarm’. Water will still be off.
Step 2: Track the Alarm Source
Check for possible leaks (faucets, toilets, appliances).
Step 3: Turn Water On
Once the cause of the alarm is identified & handled, press ‘Turn Water On’ or tap the Water icon.
Keep an eye on the flow percentage after the valve is open.

To remotely silence the control panel siren, press ‘Clear Alarm’ on the mobile app. Water will still be off.
Step 2: Track the Alarm Source
When possible have your home checked for potential leaks (faucets, toilets, appliances).
Step 3: Turn Water On
Once the cause of the alarm is identified & handled, tap/click on ‘Water Valve’, toggle the water on from your mobile device and tap/click save.
Keep an eye on the flow percentage after the valve is open.

Step 1: Locate the POLD
Press ‘Silence’ to disable the siren on the control panel & locate the POLD by the number given on the panel.
Step 2: Reset the POLD
Dry the POLD sensor pins or Water Detection Cable. The unit should self-clear once the sensors are dry. If this does not happen, open the battery compartment on the POLD and press the reset button for 1-3 seconds until silent (or remove and re-insert one battery).
Step 3: Turn Water On
Once the cause of the alarm is identified and handled, press ‘Turn Water On’ or tap the Water icon. If the system alarms again, check the POLD # after “Source:” to see if it matches the POLD that was reset. If it is different, repeat step 1 & 2.
